Dream

I had a dream before I woke up. It was a short dream.
Jaiden was in front of me. We were laughing. Then we looked at each other. I then woke up. I still remember the feeling I had in that dream. I hadn't felt it in a while, but it was familiar nonetheless. But it's weird how I felt it in the dream, but not when Jaiden and I were actually holding hands. I don't know why.

I slipped on some jeans and a t-shirt and went to the kitchen to eat some breakfast. My phone vibrated on the wood table next to my cereal bowl.
Is it okay if you come a little early? I have to go somewhere at 2.
I stared at my phone for a couple seconds before I replied.
Yea sure I'll come over after I finish breakfast
I felt weird. I checked the expiration date on the milk. It wasn't expired. I smiled at the thought of eating Reece's puffs and Oreos with vegan milk for the "7 day vegan challenge baby, solves all yo' problems" because it's apparently vegan. I finished my cereal and drove to Jaiden's house. She greeted me at the front door.
       "Hey!" She smiled. I smiled back. I walked into her house.
       "Oh hello James!" Jaiden's mother greeted as she saw me.
       "Hello!" I replied politely. Dax (Jaiden's brother) walked in and saw me.
       "You're here again?" I chuckled. "You've been coming here so often it's almost as if you guys are dating."
       "Very funny" Jaiden responded as she nudged her brother. "James you should get a haircut" she said changing the subject. I smiled.
       "Haircuts are so expensive" I told her.
       "Oh I can give you a haircut James" Jaiden's mom offered. I accepted, and then she cut my hair.
