-Setting-
Let's see, how about you picture these two idiots in clearing by a stream, surrounded by a forest, with mountains in the distance, yeah...that works :»

-Note-
Yes there will be cussing, no I won't change it. Don't like it? Simple solution: DON'T FUCKING READ IT! Problem solved😊

"Ugh I can't believe you got us lost, again! This is the last time I let you take me into the woods without a map." I huff, throwing my bag on a large rock, beside the fast moving stream.

"Oh well...at least the view's pretty," Kodi says, throwing a small stone into the stream.

I sit on the smoothed stone and lean up against the larger one. "yeah, that's true....too bad my phone died so I can't take pictures," I say with a small frown.

"There was a damned portable battery at the general store a few days ago...but someone refused to buy it," he says with the 'I told you so' look smeared all over his face, then sits down next to me.

"You know I don't think ahead!" I say, as I lay my head against his shoulder.

"Oh well not like we're going to run out of food, I packed some in the backpack...because I think ahead," he smirks, putting his arm around me.

I let out a small laugh, "you do know we can't stay here forever, we're going to either have to set up camp, or find our way to a road."

"Well....we could start walking the way we came...we haven't been walking for too long, shouldn't be but two hours or so."

"That's true, remind me again, why we walked all the way out here in the first place?" I say as I look off into the distance, skimming the mountaintops.

"Well, we were supposed to stay right on that main trail....or if you want the 'expected answer' because I know how you love to be right....i'm an idiot, that's why."

I laugh, "if that's the reason we'd do it a lot more often," I say, giving him a wink and a kiss on the cheek. "let's start walking!"

I watch Kodi get up and extend his hand, I take it and stand up, grabbing the backpack in the process then slip in onto my back.

"Well, thank you," I say, intertwining my fingers with his, watching a slight pink blush creep to his cheeks. "Which way did we come from?" looking around as I say that.

"Good question," he says looking at the general direction we came from.

"Let's......go......this way!" I say, jerking his hand leading him to the treeline. "This looks like a path!" having an accomplished look on my face, I begin to take a step onto the path.

"Woah there missy, are you sure this is the right path? Did we even take a path coming out here? I'd rather not get even more lost." He says with a slightly puzzled face, trying to remember about 30 minutes ago.

"Well, I think we should take this way, whether it's right or not, I have made up my mind, let's go"

"If we don't make it back to the car in time before dark, I blame you," he says reluctantly following me...'well more like being dragged against his will,' I snicker to myself.
