My Boyfriend and Me

So it starts.

(Caroline's POV)
It was September. Not quite sweater weather, still sort of Summer-ish. I had only been at Autumn State University (ASU) for a month, well school wise. I was here last year (freshmen year) and spent the first half of the summer home, and the last part here.
My classes/first semester started 2 weeks ago. I've been majoring in Nursing since freshman year. I only have 2 classes a day, 2 hours each, then every other day I work as a paid intern at the art museum down town. So far it's going pretty good.
Tonight is the first party of the year. Well at least for me. I'm not the crazy-radicle-rebellious kid. I mean, I've gotten tipsy a few times but I've only been hardcore drunk once or twice. Tonight's party is more like a social gathering, it's only really just going to be me, my best friend Rose, her boyfriend Rob, a few of their friends and some other kids from around campus. Nothing like let's-get-as-drunk-as-possible-and-see-how-much-cocaine-we-can-sniff sort of thing.
I pull up to Rose's apartment, sort of jealous of how she gets to live in a real life apartment where as I'm in a college apartment, sharing a suite with my roommate, Jessie.
I walk into her apartment, and I'm literally the first one here. Well besides Rob. As I walk in Rose and Rob are going at it. I mean hard core making out. Like, he's leaned up against the couch and holding/squeezing her ass.
They didn't see or hear me come in so I awkwardly close the door, wait a few seconds then knock on the door waiting for one of them to welcome me in and open the door for me.
I wait a few seconds before the door opens.
"Hey!" Rose says as she opens the door, trying to act like she wasn't just sucking the face off Rob. Even though her lipstick is a bit smushed.
"Hi!" I said awkwardly trying not to act like what I just saw scared me.
I look around and Rob is no where in sight.
"Where's Rob?" I ask.
"Oh, he's just in the bathroom. He got some stuff on his face."
Mmmhmmm. I wonder what. Obviously not lipstick and saliva.
"Oh, ok, well I brought some chips and some beer for tonight." I say putting my beer in the fridge and putting my chips into a bowl.
"Great! Thanks!" Rose responds.
Rob comes back and grabs a handful of my chips and a beer.
Rose goes over to her phone and plugs it into her speaker and starts playing some music. There is a knock on the door and a few more guests come in.
"Hey guys!"
Rose and Rob hug and greet everyone and introduce me to their friends.
"So this is my good friend Caroline!" Rose tells the people as we awkwardly shake hands.
"Caroline this is Sam,"
Rose points to a tallish guy who's arm is around some sorority girl. I shake his hand and smile.
"And this is his girlfriend Gracie,"
The blond sorority girl gives me the fakest fake smile I have ever seen in my life.
"Hiiiii!" She says and then looks back down to her phone.
"Then we have Jason,"
Jason looks me down, stops at my boobs, then my ass and says,
"Hey."
I stare at home blankly before shaking his hand.
"And then that's Joey."
"Hi!" Joey says while giving me a fake awkward hug, then waking over to Rob and talks about football or some shit like that.
Everyone sort of parts ways and starts doing there own thing.
"Drew should be here soon with a pizza,"
Rose tells me.
"Ok, cool!"
Sam and Gracie go towards the couch where they just talk to each other and look at there phones.
Jason, Joey, and Rob are over in the kitchen drinking beer and eating chips.
Rose and I stay in the middle and just talk some.
"So I'm thinking about changing my major."
Rose says.
"Again?"
This is about the 4th time she's done so.
"What's wrong with cosmetology?"
"They don't really get paid enough."
"Well I'm sure the ones who do movies and stuff do."
Rose sort of just stares at me.
"Honey, you know I'm not going to make it that far."
We laugh for a few minuets till I say,
"True!"
After a few more minuets there's a thud on the door.
A tallish guy wearing jeans and a graphic tee is in the door way. I can't really see his face because he's carrying a few boxes of pizza.
"Drew!"
Rose says surprisingly.
"You didn't have to get that much! There are only 7 of us!"
"I thought I would be prepared. You know, you never really know what's gonna happen!"
We all laugh and help him carry the pizzas to the kitchen.
"Well let me at least give you some money for some of it."
Rose insists.
"No, no, no, I got it."
" Are you sure?"
"Yeah, it's like a thank you for having me over."
Drew looks over at me.
"Who's this?"
"Hey I'm Caroline. I'm a friend of Rose."
"Well I'm Drew. I'm a friend of Rob and Rose."
"Oh cool!"
After a few hours of chatting, eating pizza, and drinking a beer or two, it's time to go.
Gracie and Sam are the first ones to go, after they sort of made out the whole time.
Then Jason leaves.
"Hey,"
He says looking at me.
"Here's my number, text me some pics some time."
I take the slip of paper as he shoves it into my hand and smirks. After he leaves I throw the paper away.
Rose, Rob, Joey, and Drew all sort of and conversing in the kitchen as I walk up.
Before I get into their little huddle -group thing Drew walks up to me.
"Hey,"
He starts.
"Hi."
"I didn't really talk to you a lot tonight, but you seem really fun."
"Well thank you,"
I say.
"Would you like to go out sometime?"
He asks.
"Sure!" I say.
"Cool, it'll be fun." He says.
