Crow sat on the bed with an amused smile on his face. A yo-yo dangled from his hand above the Freddles, who were screeching and jumping to try and catch it. The boy couldn't help but chuckle as he watched them. It made them look more friendly than when he first saw them. Cute, yes, but still creepy.
He was so focused on this that he failed to notice Freddy walk in.
The bear smiled seeing the Freddles play with Crow. He found it adorable to see the little bears jumping up at the yo-yo, making them look like puppies. His thoughts shifted to the boy playing with the little ones. As scary as he was at times, he seemed like a completely normal human- minus the fact that he could travel through worlds and fight interdimensional creatures. There had to be something deeper, though. A human cannot just gain special powers and change attitudes so fast. It would have to take differing experiences to be that way, which he had no knowledge of. The ursine decided to just drop it for now.
"You seem to be having fun.", he finally said, making the boy jump but relax when he realised who spoke.
"I guess you could say that...", Crow replied with a chuckle, "They're so adorable!"
"I guess they are.", Freddy said as he watched the little ones keep trying to catch the toy. Crow paused for a bit, thinking about something, then looked at the bear with a questioning glance.
"Are they like...your children?", Crow asked hesitantly, causing the bear's eyes to widen. An awkward silence filled the room, only broken by the Freddles' small screeches and the tiny mechanical sounds made by Freddy blinking.
"I-uhh...", he stuttered out, causing the boy to chuckle a bit while still holding the yo-yo.
"I...guess you could say that.", he finally said, "You did call me 'papa bear' when I was tied up."
"Eh, it was more or less speculation since they're able to jump into your body.", Crow said, "Plus it's kind of a weird thought I had..."
Freddy couldn't help but laugh at the statement. He had to admit that in a way, he did see the Freddles as his children. They always helped him try to get the child who appeared, like little minions. Even though they couldn't talk, they seemed to respect him as their superior, or perhaps a father.
"Now that I think about it, it does make sense."
