"There's nothin' wrong with lovin' who you are"

She said, "'Cause He made you perfect, babe"

"So hold your head up, girl and you you'll go far,

Listen to me when I say"

I'm beautiful in my way,

'Cause God makes no mistakes

I'm on the right track, baby

I was born this way

Don't hide yourself in regret,

Just love yourself and you're set

I'm on the right track, baby

I was born this way

(Born this way)

Born this way by Lady GaGa

I started running, as soon I went round the corner. I was still scared- just incase he would stand up and go after me. I know, that's silly- He was bloody on concious but it still messed with my brain.
Two people suddenly crashed, full weight, into me.

"Alice! Lenny!" I smiled from ear to ear; I was so happy to see a friendly face here after all this.

"Jazz!" They greeted in unison, happily, and I could tell by the tone of voice that they were relieved.
"We went looking for you! We thought we might n-e-v-e-r find you!" Lenny said, beaming. He looked like one of those happy anime characters like Elizebeth Middleford from Black Butler (you know, when she's really happy).

Alice only smiled, shyly. "What's up?" I asked her, this wasn't like Alice to come across all shy but it wasn't like her to be all bold either. Alice was somewhere in the middle.

"Nothing." She said, not meeting my eyes. I decided not to pursue it because Alice might has a lot of secrets that she doesn't tell anyone. I got used to it a long time ago.

"Okay, Alice." I said.

"Hey! What happened to your arm?" Lenny put on his 'OMG you are going to die' tone. Lenny tended to over exaggerate everything

"James." I smirked.

"Jazz...?" Alice asked.

"Fine, he got my with a bullet but I got him with a knife. And injured his skull." I winked.

Alice sighed, while Lenny looked intrigued. Lenny was the last person who you would expect to be intrigued by blood and gore. But then, he does watch a ton of horror movies.

"Jazz, why didn't you kill James though?" Alice chimed in. She knew I didn't kill him and why did she bring this up?

Alice seemed to sense my confusion. "Revenge, I guess." She shrugged. Wanted to avoid answering my unspoken question.

Lenny seemed confused by hearing a one sided convesation- anyone would though.
"Don't worry Len." I winked. I tended to do a lot of winking  lately, mostly to stop unwanted convesations and questions poping out of nowhere. Lenny sighed, annoyed. Lenny was the  one to ask questions out of us three, epecially when it came to James and our history together. That's how Lenny knew where James was hiding- he asked his mates; or mabey just forced them.

I was interupted by an 'ahem' by Alice. "Oh sorry, lost in thought." I replied, trying to sound easy going but the idea of Lenny becoming one of us- a killer-made me feel nervous. Everything was changing like how Kira was changing the world before he got killed. My world was changing and James was at the center of it.

Lenny and Alice were talking about something but I was to asorbed to hear what they were saying. Mum, dad- mabey they were one of the reasons James came back? It would make sense, after all, James wasn't the type of guy to just pop out of no where without a reason. Yes that's it! But if I'm going to find out the real reason, I'll have to go back to the house I left all these years ago. All those years.

"I've got to go, see you later..." And with that, I ran away again, leaving everyone behind. When I first came to these parts, I was a caged bird not knowing what to do. I met Lenny, who was born here, and he was at the age of 4. He was a joker. We laughed and we cried. Lenny was always here for me. He had dark blonde hair and chubby cheeks that make you just want to hug him tight.

Alice was Lenny's best friend. She was about my age, when I met her. She had nice blue eyes, like sapphires and Golden hair cut into layers. She had a rock edge about her. An edge that I adored. We loved the same music- Paramore, Fall Out Boy, Lady GaGa...

They were the perfect friends.

I approached the street. Private Lane- for people who run bisnesses and have lots of money. I was heading towards the end; number 49, my luck number, my parent's number. For seven years I departed, they never knew I left. My parents probably wouldn't recognise me anyway but they would take me in. Mum and Dad are charitable people, willing to take in the homeless. I will pretend I don't know them. It will be the most un-awkward situation avialable.

I walked to the door and rang the bell. It still sounded the same.

"Honey get the door." Mum said. Her voice cracked yet it held a sliver of hope- hope I would have returned.

"Fine." My fathers thick accent replied. I could hear him pacing towards the door. "Stomp, stomp, stomp." His leather boots went, as they colided with the wooden floor.

"Hello." I said, when dad opened the door.

"How are you." He greeted, pulling a smile. Although he was smiling, I could tell great sadness in his eyes. "Come in. You look like you need a place to stay."

"Thank you." I replied.

The wall was victorian styled and the smell of lillies filled the house. "My favourite flower." I wispered softly.

"They were my daughters too. She ran away 8 years ago. A few years after her best friend left her. She was only five. The night before she left, we could hear her crying and when we went to check on her, she wasn't there. The window was open. She had run away." A tear slided down his cheek.

There was a photo of me when I was seven on the wall. "Is that her?" I asked, The girl was smiling, goofy teeth shining. She had brown ringlets and the most hazel eyes you had ever seen. My eyes had obviously gotten clouded and darkened over the years, but then so had my personality.

"Yes, Jasmine was a good girl. Always full of energy, yet I could tell eveytime I looked at her she felt alone. That wa,s intill she met James. That man changed her life forever."

I wanted to shout 'It's me dad, can't you see dad!' But I didn't. It would spoil everything. I saw a photo of James on the table. as he lead me into the dining room.

"I saw that man, he was trying to kill a girl with Hazel eyes. And brown hair like your daughter." I said, I needed information.

"James. We sent him to find Jasmine, not to kill her! Honey we need to find James and fast!" He burst out of the door and left my mum and me together.

"Let's get you to bed, dear. You look ever so tired..."
