Our Love: a Waterfire Saga

   I woke up from a nightmare startled by the look of Abbadon in my dream.
   I was still trembling even tho t had been a year. Everyone had moved on with their lives and I was still clinging to the adventure, and something else.
    I swam done the hallway and knocked on Des's door.
   "Des?" I asked and he swam to the door "yeah Astrid what is it?" He opened it completely ready for me. 
     "Can I stay a while?" I asked and he looked a little bright "sure!"
    I swam in and plopped down on his bed and he got in too. "What's that issue?" He pulled he covers almost to our shoulders and I leaned on his shoulder slowly feeling awkward.
    "The dreams......" I muttered in the distance "Astrid your brave and strong and nothing will keep you down," he told me holding my shoulder his face directly in front of mine and I almost leaped into his arms kissing him. Something I loved doing!
