Beast(BWWM) (Being Rewritten)

~ Ch.7 ~

"Wow,"I said after we stepped into the enormous kitchen of this house...no...it's a mansion. This place was amazing. How could her a bunch of other people live in a small community like this one. There are like five hundred people here,maybe more. Maya just shrugged her shoulders as we continued walking through the house.

"This is the kitchen,"she says pointing into a room that has ten ladies working inside. Even the kitchen is enormous. I look around the place like a child on christmas day. One of the ladies stop and look up at us with a friendly smile.

"Well....Maya who is your friend dear,"she asked. Maya shifted uncomfortably and gave the lady an awkward smile.

"Ellie this is Jamie. Jamie this is Ellie,"she said introducing us.

"Nice to meet you,"I said as I looked her over. She wasn't old but then again she certainly wasn't young. She had this friendly,motherly look to her that just seemed amazing.

"Nice to meet you too dear. Would you like to eat anything,"she asked pointing to the mountains of food that they just made. I was about to say yes when I was interrupted by Maya.

"She already ate,"she said. Her eyes were stern like to tell Ellie not to question any further. Ellie just nodded then turned to me and gave me one last smile. As she turned away Maya turned to me. She looked like as if something was bothering her. I wonder what it is.

"Maya...are you okay,"I asked as we started to walk out of the big main house into the backyard. She turned to me with her eyes slightly widened.

"Yeah. Why wouldn't I be,"she asked while she crossed her arms over her chest. I shrugged my shoulders.

"I don't know,"I mumbled out. She have me one last long look before mumbling something under her breath as she continued to walk.

Once we got outside I saw little children running around the back yard. They had a pool,a tennis court,a small track,and a small area for people to sit. They had everything here.

"Wow I wish I can live in a place like this,"I say. I lived like a well off person but not a lavish lifestyle. It seems nice. Not to have to worry.

"Yeah but you don't know the cost for it,"Maya replied back. Seemed like she was answering herself more than she was answering me. I just ignored her and looked in another direction. Once I did I saw a another big house. Not big like the first one though. It seemed old on the outside and scary. Like its been abandoned like a haunted house. Some small voice inside of my head was drawing me towards it. I began to walk towards it but then I was stopped by Maya.

"Hey what are you doing,"she asked. A bit of worry and fear was in her voice. Why would she fear the house?

"I was wondering about the house over there. We haven't went in there yet,"I said while pointing to it.

"Yeah the man that owns this place lives there,"she said. I looked back at the house before I saw a body run past inside. I gasped and quickly turned to Maya.

"Did you see that? Someone is inside,"I said to her.

"Yes it's probably him. He likes to be alone inside of his house. Let's go back to the main house,"Maya said then walked off. I followed her but not before giving the house one more glance then leaving.

Caden's POV

His wolf was restless as he got another glimpse of his Luna. He wanted her to be his but he knew that he had to be patient and not rush things. It might make her run away. As he quickly went past the window he knew that she must have saw something because he heard her beautiful angelic voice outside.

'Alpha she is here,'Maya said through the mindlink.

'I know,'he said back with no emotion in his voice. Yes he had found his mate but he wasn't going to be all soft for her. He still wanted to be him. The ruthless and cold alpha. He now questioned if he could be the same because of his beautiful mate.

Jamie's POV

It was already late at night. I needed to head home. Maya was just lounging around sitting on the couch and I sat down next to her as we watched a bunch of shows on the enormous t.v. in this place.

"Maya I have to get home now,"I said for the second time so far.

"I will call someone to take you home,"she said then got up and walked off somewhere.

"Alrighty then,"I said. I continued to watch t.v. until I needed to go to the bathroom. I got up and went to the many bathrooms in this place and did my business. Once I cleaned myself up and got out I bumped into someone and feel to the ground.

"I am sorry. I was not watching where I was going,"I said as I kept on apologizing to the person I bumped into as I was getting up off the floor.

"Clearly you weren't,"the voice said then I froze. The voice sounded so familiar. I turned around and saw the same man the first night I came here. He was still a man that looked like a greek god.

"You,"I said. He nodded.

"Jamie Adams,"he said with his husky voice which made me shiver.

"You know my name but I don't know yours,"I said.

"Is knowing my name of any importance to you,"he asked with a raised eyebrow and a light smirk.

"Well it would be nice to know since you already know mine,"I said as I crossed my arms over my chest.

"Well then my name is Caden Black,"he said. Something about his name made me feel something. I just can't place what it is right now.

"Nice to meet you Mr.Black,"I said. He shook his head at me.

"Please just call me Caden,"he said then there was a moment of silence.

"Well I must be going,"I said breaking the silence then turned to walk away. A slight pang of hurt was in my chest as I began to walk away from him.

"Wait,"he said. His voice was demanding and dark. I turned to look at him with a raised eyebrow.

"Yes,"I asked and I crossed my arms over my chest.

"I am taking you home,"he said.

"You,"I asked with slight surprise. Why him? Where did Maya go?

"Yes. Maya asked me because something came up and she couldn't be there with you to go home,"he said like he knew what I was thinking. I turned around and saw nobody was really in sight. I would walk seeing as I know nothing about Caden but my house is far away from this place for me to walk. Plus it was dark out.

"Alright then,"I said hesitantly.

"Okay then let's go,"Caden said as he lead the way out of the house and to his car.  

This was the part of the story before were I felt like I was losing hope to continue. Sometimes I have a good idea for a chapter then can't think of what to add next. A new chapter is going to be made and added on Friday or Saturday I hoping. I have to get through writer's block first. Vote,Comment your thoughts,follow me for more updates.
