King of the Herd Book 1: Running Midnight

This is a book I wrote a couple years ago. I actually wrote half of the second book but got stuck and forgot all about it till I was looking through my computer and found them again. If this book is good enough I'll post the second one as well. Please give me your criticism and comments, I want to know your honest opinions about it. I know my grammar and punctuation is horrible, however I want know about the rest of it.

Author's Note: Mustangia, Utah, Forever Pine Ranch and the characters in this book are all fiction. They are names I created and all copyright and licenses goes to the appropriate owners, include the cover picture. I didn't not take the picture nor drew the picture, I found it on google. Whoever did, they did an amazing job and all credit goes to them.
