Victoria walked towards the archery range.

She picked one of the arrows and aimed it in target.

"I didn't know that you could shoot", Natalie said.

"I have had practice", she said.

And she aimed fire with a second arrow, just as the weather reached ° 100.

Marta arrived at Camp Crystal Lake.

Rod smiled, as he drove past the Native American totem poles.

"Maybe we can go swimming", he said.

"It's hot".

"Maybe Jason Voorhees will turn up and scare us", Marta said.

"Jason's dead".

"Is he?", Rod asked.

"Yes!", Marta answered.

And Rod turned off the ignition, and opened the driver's-side door.

Ray smiled at the new campers.

"Welcome to Camp Crystal Lake".

"Rod. And this is my girlfriend, Marta".

"It's been a long time since Camp Crystal Lake has been open. We forced the Crystal Lake Town Hall Mayor, Will Hardin, to keep the camp open. He spoke to Sheriff Forest. And we're here for a week".

"That's good", Marta opened the passenger-side door.

And got out of the van.

The weather cooled by four o'clock.

Ray headed towards the toilet.

A cool breeze wafted along the cabins. It hit his face. He heard the sound of heavy footsteps. "Is there anyone there?", he asked.

There wasn't any answer.

He was about to go further into the cabins when a machete came down on his chest. He gasped with horror, and his body thudded to the hard ground next the feet of Jason Voorhees. The hockey masked killer looked around.

When no one came, he stalked the campers until everyone had had died.

Victoria finished shooting.

She had decided that there was something evil at Camp Crystal Lake. When she and Natalie walked to the cabins, they begun to scream as they saw the body of Ray in one of the cabins; they raced to the office, and called the Sheriff.

***

Sheriff Forest picked up the telephone.

"I'll be right there", he said.

And, as he did so, he figured that the new campers were playing him for a fool. If Jason Voorhees was alive, then it was up to him to arrest him.

And for him that was what mattered in town.

***

"Jesus Christ!", Sheriff Forest said.

He got out of the car.

And he threw up at the sight of the dead teenagers' body.

And he knew that one thing was certain.

Jason Voorhees was back.
