I stare at him quietly during class. Gosh, how can he be so perfect? He's gorgeous, dorky, kind, mysterious and humourous at the same time. And, he's giving off a 'bad boy' aura too. That makes him more of my type. But, I'll have no chance with Aquarius. He's always talking to all the popular girls and I bet he's never noticed me. I've liked him for about a year now but he probably doesn't know.

Just because I'm different from other girls, I'm always left out. Whether it's in projects, or making friends, or love and relationships. It doesn't matter. No one talks to me. I'm left independent, standing on my own two feet.

I heaved a disappointed sigh and looked at him once again.

He's stunning.

But I'll never get his attention.

We were halfway into class and the teacher gave my class a little toilet break. I stood up and walked out of the classroom. On the way out, I saw Libra walking too. Great. The happy-go-lucky of the populars. Or as I personally like to say, "The Bitch Club". She was strolling with Aries and I overheard their conversation. I heard them squeal over how "cute" Aquarius was.

Oh, right. They were flirting with Aquarius just now. Haha, I have competitors?

I smirked smugly and thought to myself. How I wished they didn't just care about his looks. After all, Aquarius was ranked #2 as the most handsome guy in class, and that's why many girls flock to him. Well, at least it's what I inferred.

Unlike many girls, I just have this HUGE crush on Aquarius, and it's only because of that one line he said to me a year ago. It was a compliment, and was a phrase that he muttered whilst he watched me draw.

"Woah. It's beautiful."

It was one sentence that changed my whole view of him. And it was a sentence that changed my life, presumably for the better.

I know it sounds cheesy and all, but it was the first time someone had ever complimented my artpiece, let alone seen it.

And that's why I have an enormous crush on him.

I briskly walked back to my seat and sat down. Bored to death, I flipped my bottle. It landed perfectly without toppling.

The bell rang. The teacher continuously shook her leg as she waited for the slow ones to get back into class so that she could resume teaching.

As the slow kids still took their sweet time moving back to their seats, I flipped my bottle and played a little game with myself. You all might already have assumed that I love flipping bottles. And they always, ALWAYS land.

"If this bottle doesn't land, something good's going to happen tomorrow." I muttered to myself.

"Let's see if it works," I thought, and the bottle went down...

Oh, it landed perfec— wait a minute.

IT DIDN'T LAND?!

Yes! Something good's gonna happen tomorrow!

I shrieked and flipped out, forgetting that I was in class.

Oh no, my class was staring at me.

"Um..." I mumbled.

The teacher snarled at me.

"Cancer, young lady, you will stay for detention after class!"

I got shocked at her loud and aggressive tone and silently nodded.

Oh. Something good's gonna happen tomorrow, but I still need to pay a price.
