My eyes searched the lunchroom, he was nowhere to be seen.  "Ange!  Have you been listening to a word I've been saying?"  said Ella.

"Sorry, just tired I guess," I mumbled.

"Ok, seriously tell me, why are you so tired all the time?" she asked quietly.

  "It sounds stupid," I replied.

  "Angelina just spit it out!"

"Ok, ok, well I feel like I'm being watched all the time and that's why I can't fall asleep," I told her.

"Oh," She looked thoughtful.  "Do you feel like your being watched right now?" she asked curiously.

I nodded and Ella glanced around the room.  "Well no ones looking at us right now."

"Just never mind.  Have you finished that paper for history yet?" I asked, changing the subject.

"Almost," she replied, but I knew she wasn't done talking about my feeling.

  "I've barely started!" I groaned.

"Hey, want to come over Saturday to finish it," asked Ella.

"Ok," I said as the bell sounded. "Call me later."

I muddled my way through the rest of my classes.  The seconds seemed to go so slowly and the day dragged on forever.  When I got home I grabbed an apple off the counter and sat down at the computer.  I scrolled through the list of friends most of which were people I hardly spoke to.  The circle beside Daniels name glowed green and I smiled.  It had only been about a week since I met him and we were already pretty good friends.

Ange: Hey, where were you today?

Danny: I was sick.

Ange: Oh, are you ok?

Danny:  Yeah, it was just some 24h thing I'll be back by Monday.

Ange:  Ok, so what are you doing this weekend?

Danny:  Nothing.  You want to come over?

Ange:  Sure, sounds better than nothing.

Danny:  Haha come over after lunch tomorrow.

Ange:  Ok.  I've g2g, I have to call Ella.

Danny:  K, see you later.

Ange:  Bye :)

I logged off and grabbed the phone off the table.  I punched in Ella's number and listened as the phone rang.

  "Hello?"

  "Hey, Ell's"

"Oh hey Ange, so when are you coming over tomorrow?" she asked.  I could hear the TV in the background.

"Oh right!  I'm sorry Ell's I forgot," I said smacking myself in the forehead.  "I'm going over to Daniel's place tomorrow."

"Woah, I'm not being replaced am I?" she asked, feigning shock.  I smiled.

"Not yet," I was met with silence.  "Ells's?"

"Just so you know, I'm sticking my tongue out at you,"

I erupted in laughter at the image of Ella, sitting on the couch, wiggling her tongue out at the phone.  I finally got a handle on myself and returned to the conversation.  "But seriously," she went on.  "When are you going to finish your paper, Mrs. Baley will kill you if you hand another one in late."

"I'll finish it by Monday, who are you my mother?" although we both knew that was nothing like my mother.  I could hear someone yelling on the other end of the phone.
