Chapter one

" daddy don't leave me please" ~ 5 yr old Jennifer

My name is Jennifer Rose Johnson, I'm 20 years old with long curly hair that  I got from my momma which is Mexican and my dad is black. I work as a nurse at VCA hospital . My back ground isn't the best , damn near the worst . But I made it through, still got my education , and finally became something in life. My momma kicked me out when I was 15 years old . I lived with my grandma until I got on my feet . My momma was a crack head , she always had a different men in her house . My momma had a lot of issues but I still love that bitch . Am I looking for love ? Yes , but boys don't want one girlfriend nowadays .

Anyways, I woke up at 6 o'clock in the morning to get ready for work. I took a fresh hot shower , ooh I also live in an 2 bed room apartment . Then I got dressed in my purple nurse suit and put on my black shoes . I put on some music while I did my hair . I just put it in a bun and laid down my edges . I put on my gold hoops and grabbed my purse .

I won't feeling breakfast today so I just went to catch the bus. I don't have a car yet but I plain on getting one very soon. I went in and clocked in .
" hey Jennifer " said kris and yawned
Kris hated my ass because she think my life is perfect . Which I can't get mad at her because it looks damn near perfect from my face but if she knew my story she would have shut up and Long time ago . I waved and got right to work .

It was now 5 o'clock , time for me to leave . I walked to the bus stop and waited as I got a text from my bestfriend . Her name was Chrissy , she was the only one who was there for me through out everything . She loved me , cared for me, shit that's how I got my apartment now .

I got home safely and changed my clothes . I put on a black shirt , some red basketball shorts and my red and white Jordan's . I looked on my fridge for something to eat . I found some hamburgers and fries . I heated it up and scrolled through my Instagram . I got a couple dm'S but I ignored them as always. I finished my food and headed over to bestfriend house . It wasn't that far away so I could walk.

As I was walking I bumped into some boy . He looked as if her was in his early 20's . He was tall like about 6,3 . He had fade , with a little tattoos , like me.

" I'm so sorry " I said looking up at him
" it's good " he said smiling
That smile made a bitch happy .
I walked pass him and kept walking until I got to my bestfriend house . I knocked on the door a whole bunch of times until she answered . She answered in a robe with her hair looking messy.

" what's up with you ?" I asked walking in and sitting down on the couch .
" oh trey here" she said
" mmhm ya nasties " I said as she went back into her room and I heard the shower running . I went into her kitchen and got me some snacks . I turned on the T.v and watched spongebob . Trey walked down stairs
" hey la sis " he said , me and trey was really close
" hey trey " I said focus on the T.v
" why you watching that gay shit?" He asked me and he put on his shoes
I flicked him off and kept watching

" baby Tysean coming over today for some important shii" he told Chrissy
"Okay " she yelled back
He went out the door then shortly Chrissy came downstairs
" hey hoe" she said sitting next to me
" hey bitch" I said
" why TF you watching this gay ass shit?" She said
I threw popcorn at her
" so wassup with you and trey" I asked
" nothing much.. He seems pretty chill but I'm scared things are going to start changing " she said biting her nail

" it's okay best " I said
Then she went over to the radio and turned it up all the way . She went up stairs and grabbed a blunt and gave herself and I one. Then trey and some boy came in. I got a closer look and it was the man from earlier .
"Tysean  this is Jennifer, my girl's friend"
" wassup " he said and smiled
" Heyy" I smiled back.
They went into the back to handle some stuff
" HE IS FINNE" I told Chrissy
" girl you should try  and get him"she said
" eh .. Ion kno about that" I said , I'm really scared of a getting a heart break ..again
Anyways we finish chilling and what not until it was time for me to go cause I had work in the morning.
" bye girl" I said heading out
" bye" she said smiling .
I took about two steps when the door opened again . It was Tysean , I guess he was leaving as well.
" hey Jennifer " he said walking beside me
" hey " I said shyly
" you needa ride home?" He asked
" no thanks" I said
He got into his car and told me to get in anyways. I got in the car, something about him made me  feel so comfortable .
" so tell me bout ya self ma" he said pulling off
" well, I work at- " he cut me off and said
" tell me bout ya past " he said
I was kinda scared but I told him anyways
....... " damn , you been through some shit " he said
" yeah I guess " I said looking at him while he was focus on the road
Then his phone started to ring, he answered it . 
" what?"

" bet I'll be down there tonight"
I bet it was a hoe . I told him where I lived and he pulled up In front of my house
" thanks " I said smiling
" no problem, just give me ya number " he said smirking
I gave him my number , then he pulled off . I got into my house and got ready for bed , he gotta bitch trippin already .

Tysean ....

La momma was bad asf , she know the hustle of living in Jackson Mississippi. She ain't no joke . I want to get and kno her better , but thugs can't fall in love .
Anyways I pulled up to my trap house . Where my 3rd hoe Jessica was standing waiting me for me . She was just a hoe , no love with her just lust . But the shit felt good . I rapped it up and left the trap house . Then I went home and hopped in the shower .  I got out and texted Jennifer
