One day, I was in Paris, France. Standing at the lock wall. Well, maybe I should start earlier than that. I was in a relationship, not a very good one, with a girl named Shayla. We were at the lock wall, we were both looking at the water, staring sadly, like it was a place of death, and we were next in line. But it wasn't, it was a place of people's love, on a lock, on a fence, in Paris, the city of love. It was supposed to be anyway. I had never found true love there, as we stared in the water, she looked over to me, and said "I don't think we should be together."
"Me neither, we're not for each other." I replied and that was it, she left me. I really didn't care, nor do I know why we were in a relationship, but I still hadn't found love, never have I. I went back to my house, wondering if I would ever find true love.
After I had lived there for all my life, never have I once found true love. I got dressed for my classes that day, full of sorrow, barely moving faster than the speed of a turtle, my favorite animal. I had a 2 pet turtles, one's name was Mista Tudlz. I couldn't understand why if Paris was the so called "city of love" why couldn't I meet the love of my life?
I put on my shoes, then my jacket, and opened my door, and put my hood on. It was getting colder every day. I walked out the door, shivering, then it started snowing "Great now I have to ride my bike with the cold ass wind, and snow in my face." I said to myself sighing. I went back in my house and got my bike out, I pulled it to the front door, then down the steps. I got on, and started peddling, I passed by the lock wall, everyone on that wall had found true love, and as I rode by I thought I would never find mine. When I finally got to my highschool, I leaned my bike up against the side of the building, behind some bushes, so nobody would steal it.
I put my face down, trying to block out the wind, and walked up the steps to the doors, feeling releved to be inside, away from the snow and wind. When I walked in, I saw my friend Damian standing there waiting for me. "Hey! You get here good?" He asked
"Yeah, just broke up with Shayla" I replied.
"Oh, sorry about that bro."
"It's fine, I'm kinda happy we broke up."
"Wow, you two must not have been a very good couple, your relationship only lasted a day."
"Whatever, it's probably the only relationship I'll ever be in, so don't make me think about it right now."
"Ok, well I'll always be here for you man"
"Alright, when is the bell gonna ring?"
"Pretty soon" he said as it rang, we started walking to the stairs, having first period class together was kinda good for us, he sat behind me, so we passed notes a lot. We had reading, it was like I was invisible to everyone except for Damian and my friend Kevin. We got into first period, and our teacher, Mrs. Ives, started talking about today's lesson, sentence fluency, we had to partner up and read each other as many words as we could in a minute, she treated us like little kids, it got annoying fast.
Then the bell rang, like a preach from god releasing us from the first part of a hell. Then I went to second period, world history, our teach Mr.Smith walked in, and put up the next page we had to copy down, I hurriedly wrote it all down and stuck it in my binder, then he started walking around the room and then asked "Did I say start?!" and ripped the page out of my binder, then in half and put it in the trash can.
"Fuck." I mumbled, I copied down the paper once more, but after he had said gothis time. Then the second bell rang.
Thank god, I was ready to pass out. Then I got to computers. I logged on mine, got the work, and started. I finished before every one else, as usual, and went to the power point that I would show to my true love, if I ever met her. I finished up in computer class, and my teacher Mrs.Dingerson let me play minecraft. I was so excited, she rarely did this! I started on a monument that I had thought of the day before, and was drawing blue prints for at 1 in the morning.
