but it was all cut off when the clouds came out and the sky went gray
she knew it was gonna rain
she had her koukaku kagune emerge from her back to act as an umbrella
as it came out she remembered her friend who was dissected to take out his kagune sacks only to be added to her system
she ran to the city and jumped from roof to roof
she was unnoticed by the fading crowd
the umbrellas passed by as the people holding them walked away
she landed in an alley
her kagune retreated to her back
what she had now wasn't perfect ...but at least it wasn't that retched research laboratory
she found herself drifting asleep
