Chapter 9 : Relationship

....Gakushuu?"

Your eyes widened in shock of seeing him, you hurried yourself to run but he caught you by the wrist, and he isn't letting go. "Let me go.... i.... won't run away..." you said slowly, he let go of your wrist slowly too. "(Y/n).... just listen to me, i'm sorry about that thing in the main building, i didn't know what came over me..." he said softly to you. "Oh, so you're apologizing because the almost the whole students from the main building threw weird stuff on me. Haha! Don't sweat it! Oh! And don't forget about that hanged doll!" You laughed sarcasticly.

"Wait... the hanged doll?" He said, his face full of question. "You didn't know about the hanged doll? .... ah! I shouldn't have said it.." you muttered the last part. "No. Tell me all about it." He ordered, pulling your wrist again so you won't run. You saw Sakakibara Ren running towards you two, and for once in your life you were thankfull for him. "Let me go. Hurry!" You snapped, he let your wrist go when he heard Ren's voice, and you quickly ran away.

(Y/n) P.O.V

That was close.... too close... but... he didn't know about the hanged doll? Maybe someone else did it... i shouldn't be thinking about this now... i have to focus about the exam..... but... what was wrong with him? He was mean to me, and now he's apologizing suddenly? I stomped ky foot hard on the ground every step i take. "Take it easy, the ground's gonna break" i turned around to see Itona following me.

"Wait....

Since when are you there?" I asked.

"Just now, i saw you walking looking super angry so i followed you, what's wrong?" He asked back. "Nothing's wrong! I'm fine! And you should be studying for the upcoming exam! Now go home!" I forced a smile. "Ok then, just so you know, i am not going to take those exams." He said and walked away, "wait, what?! Whyyyy???" I whined, "because i don't wanna, and just tell me what's your relationship with that guy from A class." He stopped walking.

"No."

"What?"

"No, i believe i didn't stutter, Itona."

"Have it your way, i'm going to know sooner or later."

"Why do you want to know so badly?"

"Because you're trying to hide it so badly."

"I'm not."

"Yes you are."

"No i'm not."

"Alright, fine. I'll tell you after the exams."

"Too long, can't wait."

"You have to wait."

He gave in and nodded, "after the exams, i'll be waiting for it. Oh, right, i borrowed this book from you, i finished already." He pulled out a book from the bag he's carrying. "You did? Good! What's your opinion about it? How about you tell me about it! Let's do it at my house, maybe you can write a review? And... bla bla bla..." i continued talking while pulling him towards my house.

"Ok, then, so that's your thought about that book..." i smiled, he nodded, seeing how cute he is i couldn't help myself and just jumped at him. "Sooooo cuuuuute~~ like a smol little kitten~" i said as i ruffled his hair. "I'm not cute...." He he said, "you are!" He said and pulled me into his embrace. "Awwwe, you're squeezing me..." i said, and he didn't moved.

Normal P.O.V

You two ended up cuddling agaimts each other and eventually fell asleep.

The next morning, you woke up to find yourself alone in your house. "Where the hell did he go..." you mumbled to your self, still feeling sleepy. You waddled to the living room. "Hmm.. ok.. no one's here.. i guess he left..." you mumbled.

"Ah! I'm so lazy! The exams are soo clooose!" You dropped yourself on the sofa. "Wait. I should be going to school.." you lazily got back to your room and got ready.

~after a few weeks~

Well, after that day, Itona never showed up, he even missed the exams, "ARGH I ALREADY HELPED HIM STUDY AND HE DIDN'T EVEN SHOW UP A SINGLE DAY!" you slammed your fist on the table, "maybe he's busy? Or maybe he's training those tentacles?" Kayano said, smiling sweetly. "Hmm.. yeah, sometimes i forgot he's been experimented on.." you sighed.

The truth is you missed him, he didn't showed up a single day of the exams, and he didn't show up for the vacation you guys won over the A-class either. "You miss him, don't you?", Kayano asked.

"Yea, i think i do." You sighed, "of course you do, but i better get going now, (y/n), i need to go home, see ya tommorow!" Kayano got up and waved good bye.

It wasn't long until you felt weight shifting on your back. "So you do miss me.", a voice said. "Wait, what? Itona is that you?", you asked in surprisement.

"Wo else can it be?" He hugged me from behind.

"Come here you! Where did you go all that time!", you turned around and tackled him into a hug. "Sorry, i was busy, i even missed the vacation, huh?", he sighed. "Yup, you missed everything, we almost killed him y'know!", you bragged and told him the whole story.

"And after that we went back home! I have to go through the haunted house myself cause you didn't show up!", you ended the story. But somehow, you can see sorrow in his eyes.

"What's wrong, Itona? You look sad.."

"It's just.. nothing, i'm fine, see ya.", he said that and left. "W-wait! I didn't mean to make you leave!", you chased after him but he was too fast for you. "Well.. sheet, i just saw him again since 90 years and now he left.", you stopped chasing him and sighed.

"Just when i'm about to tell him..."

"Tell him what, exactly?", a voice shot from behind you.

You turned around to see Karma.

"Are you following me?", "no, i just passed by, why would i be following you?", he stuck his tounge out. "And what are you going to tell him? Tell me tell me! I'm curious.", he insisted, flashing his signature grin.

"I was gonna tell him the princess incident...", you spoke up.

He flinched and stayed silent.

"The incident with that bastard, huh?", he said with ice-cold tone. No longer smiling his usual grin.

You nodded silently.

"Well, you really should tell him, he's the only one that doesn't know that right now.", Karma continued.

"And there can't be a secret between a couple-"

"I believe he has a lot of secrets too...", you cut him off.

"I-i'll tell him tommorow! I-if i can find him.. or maybe one day..", you whispered the last part.

Karma sighed and walked off, "it's not like i care, why am i even talking about this.", he muttered and left.

You sighed as you watched him off.

You looked up to the sky, "maybe next time, Itona...."
