I sat down in the corner of the cell before getting up and walking over to the old bed. I lay down and covered my head before closing my eyes.

When I opened them again I saw a smoking gun and the coward I ran. I looked down in my arms to see the bleeding love of my life.

She looked at me tears cascading down her face as she cried. "Kiss it all better, I'm not ready to go. It's not your fault love, you didn't know, you didn't know." She slowly races her arm to my cheek whipping away my tears.

Her hands were so cold! I leaned down and kissed her color fading lips. "Everything will be alright." I say.

I then noticed the gun the person who had done this to her used and my rage grew inside. "I'll avenge my lover tonight!" I said tears cascading down my cheeks.

"Kiss it all better, I'm not ready to go.... It's not your fault love, you didn't know, you didn't know." She then fell limp in my arms.

I woke with a gasp. The prison bars again lay in front of me. That was 5 years ago... Now I'm 25 and she's not in my arms.

I couldn't bring her back... She had a bullet to the heart... That man tore my world apart.... Jessica was my world...
Now I hold onto her memory... It's all just a memory...

I heard the cops open my cell door. "Shut up!" They told me.

"Jessica?!" She continued to sing the same lines over and over. "Stay with me until I fall asleep, stay with me! Stay with me until I fall asleep, stay with me!" The cops grabbed me and I struggled against their grip.

"Stay with me until I fall asleep, stay wi-" I was cut off as I was hit in the head with something hard and fell to the ground.

I groaned in pain as my eyes grew heavy and I slowly fell into darkness. "No..." Was all I managed to say before darkness consumed me.

Would my lover stay with me now that I was asleep? I hope so...
