Cheshire, England. 1999
"But, Gemma.." Harry whined, eying the ice cream from in the ice cream shop.
"No, Harry. Mum wants us home for dinner." I tugged on his hand, getting him to move a few inches.
"Harry, come on." I was now the one whining. I promised mum I'd be responsible by going out for a walk with my 5 year old brother, Harry, and be home by supper. But he can get distracted so easily. I pushed him lightly and he finally unlocked his eyes from the shop and began to walk, a pout still on his face.
"Sorry, Haz. Mum's expecting us soon." I tried to make him feel better.
"Okay.." He said, giving up anymore begging. When we finally got home, Mum made her signature tacos, which was Harry and I favorite. We ran to the table and sat down waiting for the food. Finally Mum brought the food to the table and Harry automatically dug straight in. I giggled and began to eat my taco.
"Thank you, Mum" I said, very pleased with my food. I nudged Harry's arm, waiting for him to thank her for the food also.
"Oh...Thank you, mummy." He said, his mouth full.
"You're welcome, Hun." She said to the both of us.
After supper, Harry and I sat down to watch the tele.
"Harry, you're taking up the whole couch." Harry was laying on the couch taking as much room up as he could. He loved irritating or teasing me.
"I guess you'll have to sit on the chair then.." He said, cheekily.
"No, I think you'll have to move you're legs.." I replied, my hand on my hip.
"No.." He said.
"Then I guess I'll have to tickle you.." I trailed off, getting closer.
"No, Gemma.." He looked a bit frightened.
"Yes, I'm gonna tickle you.." I then jumped towards him, tickling his stomach. He laughed insanely, wiggling around on the couch.
"Okay-okay!" He tried to say between breaths. I then stopped tickling him. He sighed and got up and moved his legs, letting there be enough room for me to sit.
"That's better."
