Cheshire, England. 2010
“Isn’t she lovely, isn’t she wonderful…” Harry sang. I could hear him all the way from downstairs. He constantly sang 24/7 and it sometimes got annoying. He does have talent though, I must say. That’s why he’s auditioning for the X-Factor this year. I’m really happy and proud of him that he finally has the courage to go and sing in public, let alone a popular TV show.
“Isn’t she precious, less than one minute old.” I listened to him practice his song, while doing my homework. I heard foot steps come down the stairs, along with humming.
“Sounds good.” I said, commenting on his singing.
“I know.” He said, a cheeky smile on his face. I smirked and rolled my eyes.
“Where’s Mum and Dad?” He asked.
“At the store.” He nodded and stuck his head in the fridge looking for something to eat.
“Don’t you have to work at the bakery today?” I asked.
“Nope. I get today off.” He replied. Pulling out some ingredients to make a sandwich from the fridge.
“Why do you have today off?” I asked, making conversation.
“I don’t work on weekends anymore.” He answered, laying the meat on the bread.
“Oh, nice.” I said.
“I’m going out tonight.” Harry said, after a bit of silence. His cheeks turned a little pink and I watched him suspiciously.
He walked over to the other side of the table I was sitting at and began to eat his sandwich.
“Oh really?” I wiggled my eyebrows. He rolled his eyes.
“Not like that. I’m going out with some friends.” The redness deepend.
“Mhmm, sure...” I began wiggling my eyebrows some more just to annoy him. He shook his head, a smile playing on his face.
“Don’t forget a condom.” I teased, and quickly gathered my stuff and ran upstairs before Harry could run after me for teasing him once again.
“Oh, not so fast!” He yelled and grabbed my arm. I let out a little scream and he began to tickle me, sending me to fall to the ground in laughter.
“Harry-no!’ I tried yelling at him in between breaths.
“You shouldn’t of said that...” He said, smirking.
“I’m-sorry! Just-s-stop!” I scream, a tear coming out of my eye.
“Are you truly sorry?” He asked.
“Yes!” I let out. He finally stopped tickling me and walked back to his sandwich, leaving me breathless on the floor.
“Meanie.” I muttered and left the room, as he snickered at my comment.
