Rise of the Undead Part Five: Five Stories

FLASHBACK- HIT AND RUN

    "Hey Jack! Wanna hang out today?" Kyle said from across the street. "Yeah sure." Jack said. "How's everything going with your family?" Kyle said as he walked across the street. "Eh...it's ok I guess. They were fighting a little last night." Jack said. "Really? Do you think their getting a divorce?" Kyle asked as he threw the ball to Jack. "...I'm not sure yet, my little sister is freaking out. She thinks they're getting a divorce." Jack said. "I'm sorry all this is happening. I just wish my parents would let you stay at my house every night so you didn't have to listen to the crap your parents say." Kyle said. "Gosh, you're always cussing for no reason!" Jack said laughing. "I don't know! I hear my older brother say that all the time!" Kyle said laughing. "My parents say shit and damn a lot." Jack said laughing. "Yeah, those are some common 'adult' words." Kyle said.

    "I don't wanna go back to school." Jack said. "Well...you know that disease or whatever that is going around." Kyle said. "Yeah why?" Jack said. "Maybe they'll delay school this year, you never know!" Kyle said laughing. "Yeah well i don't think so." Jack said laughing. "Come on! Have some hope that we won't have to go to school!" Kyle said. "I would rather go to school then walk around with a bunch of crazy sick people!" Jack said. "Doesn't sound too bad to me!" Kyle said. Jack gave Kyle a 'really' look. "No! I'm just kidding, you know I'm kidding!" Kyle said laughing. Jack laughed a little. "Shut the hell up!" Jack and Kyle heard coming from Jack's house. "Mom and dad?" Kyle asked. "You know it." Jack said. "Hey see if you can catch this." Jack said as he gave the ball a toss. "Woah!" Kyle said laughing and backing up.

    "Wait!" Jack said as he could he saw a car turning down the street. Kyle caught the ball and tried to quickly run back to the house. The car didn't even seem to be slowing down, they just sped up at full speed. "Kyle no!" Jack said. But before Jack could do anything his friend fell onto the ground. Jack ran over to Kyle. "Kyle?" Jack said as he shaked Kyle. Warm blood started flowing out of Kyle's side and onto Jack's hands. Jack looked at his hands covered in the fresh red blood. The car honked and Jack looked up at the driver with bloody hands and tears in his eyes. The driver threw up his hands and revealed the bottle of beer in his hands. "What the hell!?" The driver yelled as he backed up the car and went around them. "Kyle?" Jack said as his tears fell onto his hands and mixed with Kyle's blood.
