I got dressed and went to back to my house along with Kaiser. He didn't want me to go there alone. I walked in seeing my brother and mom talking. 

"You marked her." My mom stood up. 

"Of course, why wouldn't I mark my mate." Kaiser smiled. 

"All I wanted was for Jordyn to live a happy normal life." My mom started crying. "

"New flash Mrs. Stone we're not normal." Kaiser said. "Why don't you tell her the truth." 

My eyes widened as I looked at him. 

"Truth?" I asked looking at my mom. "Jacob do you know anything about this?" 

He put his head down. I could tell he was in pain. 

"What lies are you hiding from this time." I asked. "Kaiser, what is she hiding from me?" 

"It's not my place to say." He said. 

I nodded my head. 

"I understand." I turned out and walked out the door. 

I heard my name being called by Kaiser, but I just kept walking. I hated being lied to. I walked into the coffee shop getting myself something to drink. 

"Long time no see." James walked up to me. 

"Well it was good while it lasted." I said. 

"I heard a lot has happened to you." He looked sad. "I'm sorry for being a pest around you. I want to make things right." 

I looked at him. I wanted to argue with him but I was tired of arguing. 

"Okay." I nodded. "Take me out for drink tonight." 

His eyes widened. "Are you serious?" 

"Yeah. I need one." I said with a half smile. 

I avoided my mom and Kaiser, even my brother. I didn't want to be around them. I met with James at the club. I sensed a lot of werewolves around. We sat at the bar. Taking shot after shot I felt the liquor kick in. 

"Take it slow." James said putting his hand on my back. 

I took another shot and looked at him. 

"My life is a mess." I wined. "Everything I knew is a lie." 

He leaned forward, his face inches away from mine. 

"You can tell me anything." He smiled. 

"I gotta pee." I stood stumbling as I did. "I got this." I shooed James away as he stood to help me. 

I stumbled to the bathroom. I fell as I opened the bathroom door hurting my ankle. I stood and limped into the bathroom stall. 

I splashed water on my face before leaving the bathroom. I gasped as I saw an angry Kaiser standing right outside the bathroom. He grabbed me by my wrist dragging me along with him. 

"Let me go." I argued loudly. 

"No, you're coming with me." He growled. 

"Says who?" James showed up. 

"Stay out of it." Kaiser clinched his jaw shut. 

"I'm fine, just go before he hurts you." I hiccuped. 

I yanked my hand from his grip. 

"I can find my way out." I growled at him. 

He leaned down towards me.
