4; cassidy

While Ryan and Brendon played video games, Sarah came over and her and I sat in the kitchen with a whole lot of tension in the air. It was quiet as we both sipped our glasses of wine silently.

"He still loves you, you know?" she said randomly.

"What?" my eyes widened.

"Brendon. He still loves you."

"I'm with Ryan now, though." I explained. She nodded,

"I know. Brendon and I split a while ago, I don't know why he said we were still married. I just live with him, like roommates." she sipped her glass and looked at me. I didn't know what to do with this new information.

"I'm not going to leave Ryan for my ex-boyfriend." I said. I had to admit though, I never truly lost feelings for Brendon. Now that I had thought about it, Ryan was almost like a replacement.

"I'm not saying you have to, but you just had to know." she said. I stared at the red liquid in my glass. The boys walked in, both smiling and laughing.

"You ready to go, Sarah?" he asked. She nodded and got up, looking at me,

"Thank you for the wine. It was a pleasure hanging out with you." she smiled before leaving with Brendon. Ryan sat beside me.

"Sarah said they aren't together." I blurted out.

"What?" he asked.

"Her and Brendon aren't married. They broke up a while ago and just live together. Apparently he still loves me."

"Oh. Do you still love him?" he asked.

"No. I... yes. You never really lose feelings for your first love. But I'm with you now." I said.

"Listen, if you'd be happier with Brendon, you go with Brendon. I won't be hurt. If I'm being honest, I still think about Z a lot." he said. I turned to look at him,

"Really?" I asked surprised. He nodded. I think that this would be for the better. Ryan and I weren't in love anymore, it was just one of those... we're together so we can't just breakup things.

"Okay. I'm going to call Brendon tomorrow." I said, Ryan nodded.

Brendon and I ended up getting back together, and married. Ryan got back with Z. Everyone was happy. Sarah found a new boyfriend. The band got back together. It was all a roller-coaster of emotions but I think it turned out well in the end.

I'm sorry for the horrible ending but I really did not  want to finish writing this story. I'm bored with it and I'm writing my other story now. I wanted to at least give you guys an ending, so here it is. I know, it's short. But that's the best I've got for this.
