To dream..

..You need to have an imagination. Without one, all you will ever know is darkness...

It felt like thats all I knew anymore. Sure, I had imagination, but when I wake in the morning, all I remember is pitch black, and being all alone.

I sighed at the pale blue sky, my breath looking like a puff of smoke. I closed my eyes and relaxed, sitting on the curb that was my bus stop. I pulled out my iPhone, looking at the time. 7:34 am. The bus was supposed to be here 9 minuets ago. Stupid bus driver. The stinky old man was always late in the beggining of winter.

The sound of a leaf being crushed under a loud step broke into my thoughts, causing my the open my eyes and jerk my head up to look at long-ish brown hair, deep brown eyes and a crooked smile. Or, the face of one of my bestest friends in the world. Destiny.

Her nose, ears, and cheeks were flushed pink, like mine, and her neck was snuggled against a white, red, and green striped scarf. The rest of her wore a fluffy gray coat, mittens, boot cut jeans, boots (explaining the jeans) and a tattered backpack, barely holding on to one shoulder. She flashed a toothy grin at me and mumbled behind her scarf, "Good morning!"

I smiled back, and mumbled, "Hi Des." She sat down next to me and sighed in relief. I could tell she was grateful to sit down. She lived on the other side of the neighborhood and this was the closest bus stop to her. Damned school rules.

We didn't really talk much. But that was okay, we were both quiet anyways. We were the kind of girls that got all our work done in class two minuets before everyone else, and used the rest of our time to sit around quietly, or draw. We loved to draw. We both looked up at the same time as we heard many loud footsteps trudge over to our little curb and stop there. Like I mentioned earlier, this was the only bus stop in the whole neighbor hood, and there were alot of kids in it. We looked back down at the curb like we were before as voices started chattring and more footsteps came over.

"Oh, Luuulllaabyyyyy" Destiny sang. That's my name, by the way. Lullaby. Lullaby Wolf. Lots of kids teased me for having a last name of  "Wolf." They usually made howling noises around me, or barking noises. It's only the boys that do that though. I soon realised I never replied, and she nuged me slightly.

"Yeeesss?" I mimicked. I looked up at Destiny to see her smiling at me like a toddler about to put gum in his big sister's hair. Chewed gum. Yuech.

She stared at me and wiggled her eyebrows suggestivley, making me smile awkwardly at her and make a face. I was really confised, which must have been obvious to her. She nudged me and jerked her head at someone in the now, very large crowd of kids waiting for the bus. I whipped my head around and insantly saw who she was teasing me about.

Scourge.

In my opinion, the most perfectly crafted human being on Earth. I caught myself staring at him when he turned away from some girl that was tugging on his jacket and babbling in his ear. And he just happened to turn and find me in the crowd of everyone adn stare right back. Destiny saw this too, along with of few of his sleazy friends. His friends murmered with huge grins on their faces, eyeing me. One of them mumbled something to Scourge, and his face turned from a blank, curious stare (at me!!) to a smirk and a pair of narrowed blue eyes. Destiny was giggling like a mad woman behind me. What a geat friend. Sarcasm there.

Then I slowly realised everyone was quiet. Everyone was staring at us. Us, being me and scourge.

Me and Scourge..

Shut it brain.

I swallowed hard, and blinked, my cheeks stinging pink. and not because I was cold. Ohh no, the complete opposite.
