Ever since the great reveal my parents have gone crazy .

Well I can't really say they have gone crazy considering they were the same way from even before the Great reveal and the war that happened after didn't help, one bit. All because they lost Micky. Their favorite. Micky join the army as soon as he turned eight teen years old in which it made my parents super proud to have in their word have a kid finally doing something with there life. I was only thirteen at the time in school, used to be at the top of my classes and did multiple sports. It was like Micky was a drug that they  got cut off from the moment he left.

I just couldn't take it anymore. I hated living with them after wards. it was like they forgot I was there unless we accidentally physically run into each other. They were never nice when they did finally notice. Mom seems to be the only person that is aware that I am still living with them. But she goes through the effort in making sure I get as little help from them as possible.

Meaning she puts locks on anything they don't want me into, neither parents help me get anything I need. The moment I turned eight-teen I was gone from that house. but three days later I was drag back kicking and screaming, that night I received my first beating.

If your wondering why nobody is helping me. its because my Dad is our make shift Mayor in our few last all human community and my Mom is the Sheriff. 

I was lucky to slip out of the house today, being mostly stiff and bruised up makes it harder to move. But the point is that My face is less obvious that my Dad likes to use it as a punching bag, Mom like the idea being able to hid my how damage I am with clothes. The cheap clothes I was able to get with low wage job did the job well enough till they started ripping in places. I would suck it up and just not eat for the last couple day before I would get paid again.

Something no ever tell you about going hungry is that one of the signs of starving is that your always cold.

Instead of running away into town again I instead hit the woods, to stay off the roads and head for Neutral Zone that is just east of where I live. I've been walking for ours and my shoes have been officially worn  out.

My legs ache and its starting to get really cold, I wished I invested on getting a thicker jacket for the ice seasons. Thinking I would have to camp out in the open for the night, I saw a small cabin just as I took my break to rub at my poor feet. Heck. I would have missed the thing all together if I just kept walking. Thank up above for small favors, cause I just knew I would probably not made to morning if I had to camp out. Not mention I am so thirst and starving from walking all day, food was gone in two bites and I ran out of water four hours after I started walking.

Pushing my self to get to the cabin, giving the door a polite knock to find out it wasn't even lock. Slowly walking in and keep a sharp look out for my surroundings in case someone may be hiding in the shadows. 

"Anyone there? Your door wasn't lock!" I called out.

No answer.

Nothing but the sound of the wind picking up out side, with the smell of rain in the air. Luck was definitely on my side, I did a quick look around the place, to find a heck alot of dust, some spider webs. There definitely must have been someone living here because there is rations in the kitchen, which is really good for me, I'm so eating good to night. Fully stock on fire wood for the small fire place, but it doesn't make since, because there is a fully modernized kitchen with working stoves and everything.

Just enjoy this place before the actual owners show up and just murder your butt. The lst thing I found was that the room for this cabin was was pretty big and I almost cried when I saw the bed. It was just a mattress on a bed frame but it looked like heaven!

I didn't even realize  that I walk right up to it till I was sitting right on it.
