Chapter 7

*Catherine's P.O.V.*

Pain.

Cold.

Fear.

Those were the things I could feel as I lay on the floor lifeless, but I could see everything around me, I could see Drake looking for June, but at the same time I could feel my body healing itself, stitching the bullet holes together, slowly my heart starts freezing, not completely cold but not completely warm either, I felt my skin slowly turning crystal and as soon as the last whole closes up my half dead heart beats very slowly, I gasp for air trying to get as much air into my lungs as possible but they don't allow, I continue laying on the floor as Drake walks over to me to see what was the noise I made, I hold my breath.

He stands next to me for a good 10 minutes before he leaves, I don't exhale something in my body tells me that I don't need to breathe, I get up and making noise on purpose making him jump around and point his gun to where I was standing previously, I now standing in the shadows next to him, I see fear in his eyes as he doesn't see me there, I smirk and pounce on him, he screams as he fall on the floor, his eyes scans my face in fear stopping on my eyes before I lean into his neck and bite it hard drinking his blood.

After all of blood is drained, I get up and walk to the bathroom to wash my mouth, I then clean it on the towel before walking on top of the stairs and towards June's bedroom, once at the door I knock and wait for Linda to open the door, after a few minutes of Linda not opening the door I kick it open, I look around for Linda only to find her in June's bathroom laying on the floor pale as a sheet, I rush to her and place two fingers on her neck trying to find a pulse, once I don't find one I choke back a sob and cover her with a bed sheet, "June, it's mommy." I say as I stand in front of the wardrobe, I open it and she comes flying into my arms crying, I hold her close and whisper in her ear "It's okay baby, I'm here. Choose what you want to take with you, you're coming with mommy this time." I set her down and she walks to her toy boxes and places a hand on all of them, I nod and walk to Alfred and Linda's bedroom and grab the suitcases.

Once back in June's room I open the suitcases and start putting all of her belongings such as clothes, shoes, accessories, pictures of her, Linda, Alfred and I, bed clothes, bathroom things in them, I then carry them, along with the toys to the car and transfer June's baby seat from Linda's car and seat to mine, I walk back in and grab her baby chair and playground from the kitchen and living room and put it in the car along with her already prepared baby bottles inside a heater before I go upstairs and pick up June.

I walk to the car and place her on her baby seat, "Mommy we weaving?" she asks in her cute baby voice "Yes princess we are." I answer her smiling, she smiles back as I close the door and walk to the driver's seat "Baby girl sleep, it's going to be a long ride." I tell her, she nods and sucks on her finger, I smile and hand her a baby bottle with baby formula milk, she takes it and starts drinking it, I smile and start the car.

I drive towards Forks only stopping to eat and to change June's diaper, once in Forks I call Uncle Charlie, him having called a lot of time "Chief Swan." He says, "Hey Uncle Charlie, sorry for not answering and disappearing, I went to get June, Drake was trying to get to her, he killed his parents he was killed by some sort of animal he had a huge bite on his neck, I have June and all her stuff, Linda called me early yesterday." I say in a rush, he sighs and says "I'm glad you're alright, how is she?" "At the moment sleeping, look I'm going to stop at the Cullen's to get Zoe and then I'll head home." I answer, he hums and ends the call, I smile and drive to the Cullen's household, once there I stop the car and get up, using my new enhanced speed to get to June.

I pick her up and balance her on one hip and walk inside, as soon as I place a foot in the living room I am pulled into tingly arms and a face hides in my neck breathing my scent "Mommy you're back." I hear Zoe squeal, I hush her and rub her shoulder "Where were you?" I hear Jasper ask as he raises his head and wraps his arms around my waist, "I had something to do...." I trail off looking at Zoe, she look up at me smiling and says "You're like them now mommy, only you're eyes aren't completely amber, they're blue and red." I mentally curse as Jasper pull my chin up to face him and smile "Still perfect my love." I smile at him as I hear a gurgle coming from June, I snap my head to her along with everyone else and Zoe asks "Mommy who is she?" June looks at Zoe and asks "Mommy who she?" everyone gasps and I feel my cheeks warm up a bit, "Zoe meet your little sister June Summers Samson, June meet your big sister Zoe Summers." I say and crunch down, hoping the two would get along even though I had a feeling they would.

"Hello June." Zoe says smiling hugging her lightly, June giggles and reaches for Zoe saying "Wewwo Woe." I smile and walk towards the empty love seat, Zoe sits down and I place June on her lap, the two smile and I smile at them, suddenly arms wrap themselves around my waist "June's gorgeous love. But who are the parents?" Jasper asks, I freeze and pull him to the kitchen, the rest get the memo and walk to the kitchen too, "Zoe keep an eye on your sister." I tell her she nods and continues to play with her.

I walk to the kitchen finally and Rosalie asks "Who are June's parents?" I look down and say "I'm her biological mom...." I hear Jasper growl and feel his grip around my waist tighten "But it wasn't willingly, her father, my ex-boyfriend, often drank and he raped me, the first time he forced himself on me he got me pregnant, I told aunt Renee about being pregnant and she supported me, everyone at school knew I wasn't lying cause they saw Drake hit me, but I could kill my baby, I would be those monster moms who kill their babies because their father is a jerk. Drake was abusive, he hit me every day. He only sobered up when June was born, but he drank and tried to force himself on me later that night when he back drunk, June saved me, she grabbed his attention and the cops were able to cuff him, when we went to court I won the trial and got custody over her but she had to live with her paternal grandparents. Yesterday Linda called me to tell me Drake had escaped and had killed his father, shot her and was trying to get to June, that's why I left so fast. He shot me four times on the stomach, chest, shoulder and head, I died but then I guess from being Carlisle's daughter I somehow was transformed into a vampire and I killed him, I grabbed June and all her stuff and drove back." I tell them.

Rosalie and Esme look at me in pity, Alice smiles a bit and says "The best part of your life is to come now, with your two daughters, your mate and your new family." I smile at her as Jasper kisses my head, "I need a shower and new clothes." I say lowly, they all laugh and Rosalie says "You can use my clothes." I smile and follow her, once in her bedroom, she hands me an outfit similar to the one I'm wearing only cleaner and leads me to Jasper's bathroom, "I'm sorry for treating you badly, but I don't really like humans." She says, I smile and hug her, "Don't worry." I say, she smiles and walks out, I walk into the shower and shower.

After I'm smelling better and not covered in blood I walk back downstairs to see Rose holding a sleeping June and Jasper holding a sleeping Zoe, I smile and look at them "Why don't you come live with us, we can easily build a house for you like this one and you can live with Jasper and the girls." Esme asks as she wraps an arms around me, I look at Jasper and Zoe, she's clings onto him. "Sure I think we would all like that." I whisper to her, she smiles and says "I already have the plans and the materials, you can move in next Monday, that is if you want, I'm sure everyone will help." I smile and say "Will you guys help me take the girls to the car?" Rose and Jasper and walk outside, "I'm taking the girls to La' Push tomorrow." I tell them, "I know they are werewolves but don't worry we'll be fine." I add, they nod as they place the girls in the car, Rose heads back in afterwards and Jasper gets in the drivers seat while I take the passengers, "They called me daddy." He tells me as he drives towards Uncle Charlie's, I smile and lean over to kiss his cheek.

"Can you stay the night with me?" I ask himafter we put the girls to bed, he nods and picks me up bridal style and carriesme to my room, I cuddle into his chest tiredly and he says as we lay down "Youmay still be slightly human but I know that watching you sleep is going to bemy most favorite thing to do." He says, I pull the covers over us and say "Youforgot the part of being a father to two little angels." He chuckles and kissesmy forehead pulling me close "Yeah that too."
