KARI'S POV

Hayden narrowed her eyes at me and walked away quickly.

"Hayden!" I ran after her and grabbed her. "I'm sorry for everything. I know I was wrong to hide the truth from you. I...I was afraid. What I saw in there, I couldn't believe it was possible, that it was just something I had created in order to cope. I had pushed it so far into the back of my mind that when I met Damien and Xavier....I mean Demyx and Zexion...I didn't even think twice about how they looked. I was careless. Please, forgive me."

I started crying and sank to my knees as I held onto her hand.

HAYDEN'S POV

Jazzie...Kari... started crying and my eyes widened. The last time I had seen her cry was when she came out of the house in the fireman's arms. Ever since then...she's been the strong one.

Whenever I complained about anything, being hungry, not having clothes that fit...anything...she would smile and say okay. Next thing I knew, there would be bags of new clothes on my bed in a week, and bigger meals that actually tasted good.

But when all those things came, Jazzie went. Slowly but surely I was seeing her less and less. What I didn't realize was that besides her job at Disneyland, she had two other jobs. One in the morning, and one at night. Being so young and innocent, I didn't understand why she had to work so much. I didn't understand why she didn't want to play when she was home.

Now I do...

She was doing exactly what she always she she would do.

"Don't worry Kayla...I'll always be your big sister. That means I have to take care of you and make sure you're always happy."

I smiled faintly at the memory as I knelt down and hugged her tightly.

Sora and the others shifted slightly, obviously uncomfortable and unsure of what to do.

Jazzie stood suddenly and ran off towards the castle gate.

"Jazzie! Come back!" Me and Sora ran after her.

I watched with wide eyes and a dropped jaw as she scaled the gate and continued running on. Without hesitation, I started climbing after her, but Leon stopped me.

"It's dangerous."

"That's my sister," I snapped.

He stepped back a bit and nodded.

I started climbing the gate again, but when I got to the top I felt something hit me, and I went flying off the gate. Sora and Leon yelled out to me, but I couldn't hear what they were saying.

A bright light blinded me, and a sudden cold surrounded me.

I clamped my teeth together, for some reason thinking that would make the freezing cold go away...no luck. My vision cleared somewhat, but all I could see was white.

What's going on? Why is it so cold? Why can't I see?

I stood up and squinted my eyes against the harsh wind and...snow?

"OH MY GODS I'M IN A BLIZZARD??"

My hands dropped to my sides as I spun around and tried to make out something, anything, that I could use for shelter before I froze to death. Off to my left I spotted a large door, built into the mountain?

I'm seriously questioning that? Of all things? Oh for crying out loud...

I ran to the door and started banging on it as hard as I could.
