Sicily's Past

"Wow this place is amazing! So green! and empty like my soul!" Sicily said over joyed with her small island. As she walked around she saw a man and a woman arguing.
"Stay away from me you cheeky bastard!" The lady shrieked and cringed.
"But I love you!" He replied.
"Go pester Egypt! You love her don't you?!" She countered.
"I love you too!" He proclaimed.
"She would probably enjoy getting pestered! At any rate better her than me!"she pointed out bringing a cross out and getting ready to smash his face with it.  Suddenly a little boy not much older than Sicily peeked out from behind the woman. He had a cat on his head he had received from Egypt. Sicily smiled and waved until suddenly they heard a ear splitting yelp.
"That hurt lady Greece!" The man whined while rubbing his cheek.
"That's what perverts like you get Rome!" Ancient Greece said while kicking him. The man started walking away when suddenly he saw Sicily.
"Hello little girl. What might might your name be?" He asked as he crouched down.
"Sicily. Don't eat me." She said backing up.
"I don't think you would taste very good." He said with a chuckle. Rome decided to take Sicily to his house and raise her but after half a century......
"If you raise her she won't know how to defend herself and will grow up to be a wimpy country like north Italy! She needs to be strong enough to defeat perverts like you!" Ancient Greece stated. Sicily was playing tag with Greece and wasn't paying attention to the conversation. Greece accidentally pushed her to hard and she started crying.
"See?! She's too weak and fragile!" Ancient Greece pointed out.
"I think that's how a girl should be! Very nice and fragile." Rome said.
"You are the WORST parent I have EVER seen!" Ancient Greece stated.
"Fine we will ask Sicily her self!" Rome proclaimed.
"Deal!" Ancient Greece agreed.
"Sicily, who would you rather live with me or miss Ancient Greece?" Rome asked.
"Will I get to play with Greece more if I live with miss Ancient Greece?" Sicily asked.
"Of course you will see him everyday!" Miss Ancient Greece exclaimed.
"You won't get to see me or your brothers very much." Rome stated.
"Sounds great to me! I want to live with miss Ancient Greece!" Sicily exclaimed with joy.

A a century and a half later.....

"Hey Greece! Let's play tag!" Sicily suggested.
"But you give me bruises every time." He replied.
"Then let's find something to eat!" She suggested.
"Sure." He agreed.

In the forest Greece was picking some Berries when Sicily came back with some creature slanged over her back.
"Look what I caught on my hunt!" She said as she showed Greece the dead animal.
"What is that?" He asked a bit concerned.
"Not sure, but I need to get to training with miss Ancient Greece! Ciao!" She said as she ran out of the forest and into the garden.

After some time with miss Ancient Greece she was delivered to Rome.

"  it's so good to see you Sicily!" Rome hollered and tried to hug her. She dodged him and slapped his face.
"Creepy." Is all she said.
"Hey where's Romano and Venenziano?" She asked.
"Romano is living with Spain. I'm going to decline soon. And the other day miss Ancient Greece..... Died." Rome answered.
"What?! Then why did she give me back to you?! I could have helped her!"
"She didn't want you to see it."
Sicily started to cry. She ran from there to Greece's house. He had shut off most of his emotions. He was like a robot. He slept a lot too to keep the bad thoughts away. He also had gathered cats to give him a sense of comfort.

Sicily stayed with Greece for a month. When she went to see Rome he had just disappeared. Venenziano was enslaved by Austria. Romano was still with Spain. Naples had ran away and Seborga was creepy. She ended up living with Greece while learning the dark arts of sarcasm.

Centuries later......

"I painted a bunch Romano's tomatoes and put them in a ball pit wanna help me lure him in?" Sicily asked Shetland.
"You are a GENIUS!" Shetland replied.

Let's just say Sicily, Shetland, and Romano had to take a long shower and Spain had quite the amount of laundry to do.
