"hello jongin." his dad said and smiled. "you must be sana." he said and bowed at me. i bowed back and nodded my head. i looked to the right of his dad and assumed the lady was his mom. she was wearing the exact same dress as me, but black. "hello mrs. kim." i said and bowed at her. i could tell she put on a fake smile and bowed back, before turning her back on me and walking away. a tall boy came from behind his mom and smiled at me. "hello, I'm kim hansol. kai's older brother." the boy said and bowed. i bowed another time and sent him a smile. kai's dad let me in as he shut the door after kai walked in. kai escorted me to the quite big dining table with a nice chandelier above it. his mom was already seated and had her arms crossed.

"for dinner tonight we will have something prepared for you by our personal chef." mr. kim said and snapped his fingers. two small women walked out in uniforms with a silver platter in their hands. they set it down and bowed after and left. mr. kim opened the top of the platter and the food looked absolutely delicious. "wow." i gasped and whispered to myself.

as we ate, we made small talk. mrs. kim didn't say one word and just ate her food. hansol kept staring at me and smirking for some reason. kai would catch him and 'accidentally' kick his shin. after the fourth kick, hansol stopped staring at me and just pouted. after we ate, we all walked to the family room and sat down on the couch. kai and i shared a couch while hansol and his mom shared one across from us. mr. kim had his own special chair. kai grabbed a small blanket and placed it over my legs like the gentleman he was. "thank you." i whispered and smiled. "so sana. when did you catch feelings for this playboy?" mr. kim asked which caused kai to whine. i laughed under my breath. "well, we were just roommates, but i slowly fell in love with him as he kept doing these little things for me that just made my stomach flutter. i knew he was the one for me." i lied and stared at kai. "you're a great liar." he whispered and nudged my arm. i sent him a wink and paid attention to his dad. "i have to say jongin. she is much better than that seolyun girl." his dad admitted and rolled his eyes at the name. "i like seolyun better." mrs. kim whispered but i still heard her. i let out an awkward chuckle and scratched my neck. "mom." hansol muttered and rolled his eyes at her. "it's not her fault. she has her own opinion." i said and smiled at her. she just stared at me and scoffed. "kai, can you show me where the restroom is please." i politely asked getting tired of his mom's attitude. he nodded and helped me up. he led me through a small hall and stopped infront of a small gold door. "you can go back with your family. i will be fine." i assured him and kissed his cheek before he left. he nodded once again and left me as i shut the door. i did my business and washed my hands after. i looked in the mirror and stared at myself. "does she hate me?" i whispered and tilted my head. i shrugged the thought off and sighed. i unlocked the door and straightened out my dress before leaving. when i was walking towards the family room, i heard them talking.

"mom, why are you being so rude to my girlfriend?" kai asked annoyed. "I'm not nice to people who are under us. she's not even as rich as us, why would you date her? seolyun was rich and much prettier than her. i bet she isn't even in love with you like she said." his mom said and laughed after. i was shocked by her reply. i stood up and held my tears in. i walked to the room and everyone's attention was on me. "what?" i asked as everyone seemed panicked. "nothing." mr. kim said and smiled. as i sat down, his mom kept giving me dirty stares and kept rolling her eyes at me. i checked my phone and saw that i had a text from suho. i read it and locked my phone back. "kai, suho texted me and said there was an emergency back at my apartment. we should go." i lied and glared at him. he caught on and nodded, "alright." he said and stood up after me. his dad escorted us to the door and opened it for us. we both walked outside and stood infront of his mom and dad. i bowed, "thank you for inviting me. i had fun and i hope we get to know each other more." i said and smiled.

after thanking each other, we still stood in front of the the door. this was my time to show his mom that he meant more to me. i interlocked hands with kai and he turned his head towards me. he made eye contact with me as his parents just watched. I glanced and made sure that his mom was looking. I grabbed his face and pressed my lips onto his. he seemed surprised by my actions but got comfortable and kissed back. i pulled away and smiled to myself. "don't have too much fun when you get home." his dad joked and winked. "dad." kai whined while i just laughed. we said our goodbyes as his mom just stomped away after the kiss.

we made it to my house and kai locked his car. we walked to my front door when kai stopped me. he grabbed my cheeks and pulled me in for a quick but meaningful kiss. i smiled as i pulled away, "your mom is such a bitch." i muttered and he just chuckled. "i promise she will get nicer." he said and patted my shoulder. i unlocked my door and heard a clash on the floor as i opened it. the boys where piled on each other as they just stared at me and kai. "we didn't see anything." chen quickly said and got up, running to the couch and hiding himself with pillows. everyone else did the same. "kai, you have lipstick on your lips." chanyeol said and chuckled along with the other boys. i giggled and wiped my thumb across his bottom lip. "goodnight boys." i said and waved, running to my room, with my heels in my hand.
