We enter the arena tomorrow, and I'm scared. Not for me, but for you. What did you do to deserve me being here? Why must these cursed Games exist? I love you with all my heart. Don't ever forget that.
Despite everything I know you would love the Capitol! It's beautiful and so many different foods adorn the plates and the fashion is outragious! I never really believed it but now that I've seen it in person it's just... wow.
Say goodbye to Alsiey, Carmen, and Damien for me. I never had the chance to... Despite what you say I know I have no chance in these 'Games'. I will most likely die at the hands of a Career. Please, when I'm gone, don't dwell on the past. Don't mourn my death because I will always be in your hearts, watching over you. I will be in a better place and you know it.
As painful as it is I must leave you now. I wish I had more time to write but I have to rest before the arena. Please know that I love you dearly.
