"Maggie? Sis? Come on, it's time for dinner" I call from downstairs.
No reply.
I start to walk up the stairs, the old wooden stairs covered in small pieces of shredded white wallpaper from this old grotty house. I squeak her old bedroom door open and peer inside, my face instantly turning pale as she turns around to face me. I'm still not used to her 'new' face. I calm myself slightly and put a smile on my face so she doesn't notice.

"Come on, dinner is ready " I repeat with a small smile.

After everything that we've put her through, what she's gone through, she still manages to put on a smile everyday. She is so strong, I am so proud of her. But we'd understand if she would have a not so happy smile on, someday.
I believe she is beautiful, so beautiful. No matter what she looks like or what she might become, she will still be beautiful and will always be my baby sister.

"K', coming" Maggie replies, putting down her things and walking past me and down the stairs; I follow her.

"Hey Maggie-moo" Mum greets us as we enter the kitchen.

"Hey mummy" Maggie replies excitedly as we both sit down at the dinner table.

She must be excited for dinner. I hope she likes it, I hope..
Mum begins to walk over to the table with two steaming plates with a strong scent of pork.
As she places the two plates on the table, me and mum make slight eye contact, with the same thought planted in our eyes.

I look down at my plate and see rice, pork and broccoli.

I hesitate and begin to get nervous.

Maggie doesn't like broccoli.

"No...no, please, no.. no" Maggie whimpers, grabbing her temples and rocking back and forth. Oh no, please Maggie...

"No.. no, please no.. NO!" She screams, swinging her arm out and flinging the plate, making all of the food go flying across the kitchen followed by a loud crash of the plate hitting the cold, hard, wooden floors.

Maggie hasn't been herself lately. Me and mum have been trying to fix her, trying to figure out what's wrong, but she doesn't tell us anything. We are so worried, so scared for her.
This has happened once or twice before in the last fortnight, which was only two months after leaving the hospital.

We don't know what's wrong with her, but I think she is getting worse. I think she will get worse. I hope she doesn't.

Poor Maggie... I'm sorry.
