Eva's POV
Great I'm going to be late for collage again! It's been the third time this week. Which means cleaning the litter around the place. They treat us like we're in Junior high! It's so unfair.
Ok. I'll have a shower now and then see what I'm working with for the day with my hair and ugly face!
Yuck! My shampoo is all dried up! What am I gonna do now, I only have 5 minutes to get ready.
Screw this I'm just gonna skip my shower, chuck on some tracks pants with my uggs and a sweater. I'll eat a banana in the car. I can't afford to be late again!
"Ahhh! Eva I see you are right on time. You have your assignment due today."
My mouth drops open. I totally forgot about it! I feel a mix of anger, frustration and disappointment dwell inside of me. I still can't can't believe I forgot about the assignment I was meant to hand in!
"So where is it, are you gonna hand it in now or at the end of the class?" Mr. Vowel asks
"Yeah Eva where is it!?" I hear my friends tease. I roll my eyes and see that Mr. Vowel has given them a warning glare.
"Ummm, well..." I say knowing that he has already figured it out that I totally forgot about it.
"I see, I see. Well Eva you've just got to give it to me bye tomorrow... And that goes to the rest of this class, if you have not finished it yet make sure it is to me by tomorrow!!!" He yells out to everyone else.
"You are all lucky about this extension...remember, this is just a one off!" He finishes.
Ring! Ring! I've been daydreaming the whole lecture. I feel relief now that it's over, all I want to do is get out of this room and eat something. As I head to Starbucks I see my crush. I totally freak out and walk the opposite direction. As I turn around I smash into someone holding 4 hot coffees, they spill all over me! I feel them burning my chest and going through my top.
"Ahhhh!" I yell.
My crush turns around and comes straight to me.
"Are you ok?!" Alex asks.
If it wasn't for his bright blue eyes and charming smile I would be like... No! Wtf of course I'm not alright. I've smashing into boiling coffee. But it's him soooo.
"Yeah, I'll be ok thanks." I turn around and go straight to the bathrooms.
After I've cleaned myself I head to the door and open it. And guess who's outside waiting for me. Alex. I give him a awkward smile and I walk past him. When I think I'm ok he grabs my arm and calls out...
"Wait!" I turn around.
"what!" When I realised how rude that must sound I stand up straight and say sorry.
"It's ok. But we need to talk."
"Ooook. Why?" I say puzzled. All I want to do is run to my class and pretend nothing ever happened. It feels awkward talking to him. We both know I like him, but I'm not sure he likes me.
"I like you." We have a long pause. "I like you a lot Eva!"
We both blush. I smile.
"I like you too." I say. He smiles then for a second I thought we were going to kiss but the bell rang. It would of been to early anyway. We hardly know each other.
"Ok, well...see you around." He walks away.
I stop. I think. Wow, it all happened so fast. I had no idea he was going to say that. It was so random. But then. I think back. The way we smiled at each other, and how he asked if I was ok. He likes me. He cares about me.
As I walk to class, I find my best friend at her locker I run up to her and squeal!
"Eeeek!" She looks at me and smiles.
"What is it!" She asked excitedly.
I tell her everything while we walk back to class.
"O...M...G! I new you two would end up together sooner or later, you both look perfect together." I smile and we walk into class.
