Chapter 19

I woke up the next morning and saw Nate Gone but I remembered he had to leave at 10.

I walked to the twins room and saw Sydney watching tv.

"Hi mommy" Sydney said
"Hi syd, is Cayden still sleep?" I asked
"She has a rever. Daddy said check phone"

"Rever?" I asked
"She's hot"
"Fever" I laughed. I quickly grabbed my phone and called Nate.

"Hey babe" Nate said
"Hey. Did Cayden have a fever?" I asked

"Yeah. She said her head was hurting and she was burning up"
"Ok Thanks babe"
"No problem. Call me if you need me"
"Ok bye. I love you"

I went to Austin's room and picked up my crying baby. I made him a bottle and we went to my room. I gave him his bottle and put him in his play pen. I checked Caydens temperate. 102.1. I called my mom freaking out.

"Lindsey go get some rest. I'll take care of Cayden. You can leave Austin and Sydney" She said
"I'll take Sydney with me" I said and she nodded.

"Syd" I said calling her
"Yes mommy?" She asked
"Let's go get some lunch?" She nodded and I picked her up.

I took Sydney to lunch then to the mall and into Walmart.

"Get whatever you want" I said to her.
"Okay mommy" She said grabbing my hand and pulling me into the toys section.

"I want this" she said pointing to the huge toy car that she could drive.

"That?" I asked
"Yeah!!" She nodded. I shrugged
"Ok but you have to share with Cayden" I said and she nodded.

"Cayden" Sydney said
"What?" She said laying on Nate who came over after work. She was on his phone.

"Mommy got us the toy car we've been wanting!!"
"Yay!!" She said

"The 300 dollar one?" Nate asked
"Yeah" I said. He just smiled and laughed.

We were at home watching the twins play with there new Bentley when Sydney came running into the garage.

"Mommy! Daddy! Somethings wrong with Cayden!!!" Sydney came running into the garage. Nate took of running to her.

I took off running behind Nate and I saw Cayden throwing up. What the hell was wrong with my baby?

He scooped her into his arms and I picked up Sydney.

"Whats wrong with my sister" She cried
"Shhhh. It's ok everything's gonna be alright" I said. Nate followed me the house and took Cayden upstairs. I grabbed my phone and called my mom again.

"Hello?" She answered

"Yeah Cayden just threw up... A lot"
"I'm on my way. Give her a bath and give her some plain toast. I'll stop and get her some other stuff. I'll be there in 20"

"Nates giving her a bath right now. But thank you so much mom! I'll see you soon"

I hung up and took Sydney upstairs to her room.
"I'll be right back. Stay here" she nodded and I put the toy car in the garage and charged the battery. I rinsed the throw up off the sidewalk.

I went back inside and saw Sydney in my room watching her cartoons on Nate's Mac. I went into the bathroom to see Cayden. She jumped into my arms when I walked in.

"My tummy hurts" she said
"It's ok baby. We are gonna make you feel better" I said. I couldn't stand seeing her in so much pain.
