Soon Regretful

Chapter One

Violet was walking down the street, crying because she just found out her family was moving and

taking her with them. Violet had barely any friends already so she was scared that due to her

moving those friends would ditch her. Her only friends have been there for her for two years but

now she's moving and she feels she has nothing left for her.... Violet has always been such a

depressed girl, ever since her mom Vivian found her dad Jake cheating on her with a 21 year old....

Violets only seventeen and she's a really smart girl when she applies herself but at times she can't

manage to apply herself.... She couldn't stop thinking about the move in two days. Violet slowly

pulled out a cigarette and lit it quickly inhaling some of the smoke and smiling softly. She loved

smoking because it always seemed to kind of help her out with her pain and stress..... Violet

quickly finished her cigarette and put it out as she walked into her house,and ran up to her

bathroom and pulled some blades out of her pocket. As she slid a blade out she slowly slid it across

her arm,watching the blood drip as tears ran down her face. She heard someone coming so she

quickly threw the blade away and rolled her sleeve down,hoping they wouldn't notice the blood on

the floor. She looked at the door as someone walked in and it was her mom. She softly smiled at

her,trying to get her to go away. So her mom left after slowly shutting the door, Violet was very

relieved after her mom left,she didn't want her family worrying about her even more. She knew

that if her family knew how bad she really was they'd try and help her. She didn't want help, she

wanted relief and she knew no one could help her get the kind of relief she really needed. Violet

was a very strange girl but at the same time she's very beautiful and smart. She always seemed to

stay in her room once the depression hit her, and it seemed to hit her quickly and really hard. She

placed her hands on the sink and looked in the mirror as tears started streaming down her cheeks

again. She couldn't believe how bad things have gotten for her, she went from being happy to being

a complete mess within a month.
