Something Bad Happened

It was March already. Kensi was too close to the guys she met on the first day to tell them everything she needed to talk about.

And she started falling in love with Deeks. She started thinking about the words Deeks said on the lockers 'I think Universe knew we were meant to each other!' and thought for herself 'Touché'.

What she didn't know was that Deeks felt the same for her. The only thing he did was thinking about her. He finally decided to gain courage and talk to her about what he feels.

He walked to her smiling in the end of the classes but it faded when she saw her sitting on a corner crying. He ran to her and sat beside her.

"Kensi what's going on?" He said softly wrapping his arms around her neck.

Kensi cried for a bit more and then she finally looked up at him.

"My mom called me a bit ago." She said sobbing. Deeks could see that her voice was low and shaky.

"What happened?" He asked in a low voice.

"My dad died in a car crash!" As soon as she finished the sentence she broke down crying and buried her head into Deeks' chest.

"I'm so sorry Kens. I'm really sorry." He held her and rubbed her head.

They stood there for about five minutes when they finally got up.

"Hey Kens... I... I don't know if it's the right time but I need to tell you something... And I feel like if I don't say it now I probably never will so...just give me a chance" Deeks said blushing.

"Um...I...I think you could say it..." She said nervously.

"I...I love you..." He said quickly, afraid to scare her.

"you what?" She didn't actually understand anything he said.

"I love you." He said in a calmer and understandable tone. "Since day one. When I saw you at the principal's office my world fell apart. I love you Kens. I'd even die for you!"

"Aww Deeks!" She let tears run down her face, but they weren't sad tears. They were happy tears. She really needed that right now. "You really mean that?" She walked closer to him.

"Here's a proof." He pulled her closer, placing his hands on her cheeks. He looked into her eyes and kissed her with passion.

After a few minutes, Deeks took Kensi home. He already knew the way because he went to her place several times. They said goodbye and then Deeks went to his place.
