The love I wish to give is like the burning of a thousand candles. My love is like the soothing calm in the midst of a storm. The love I with to give is an all consuming wondrous display  of light and fire, of peace and strength. My love is the ultimate prize for those who wish to brave the walls I have built up.

So why is it that when I show someone the hidden door into my heart everyone turns away. Perhaps I should simply allow every person to climb my walls if they wish to get close to me.

But then I wouldn’t have anyone left. For my walls are so terribly high and the vines that climb them have many thorns. I don’t think that there is anyone left for me.
