Roaring flames swallowed up the castle. The fire was so intense that it ravaged everything through sight, leaving them to black ashes. We could hear screams of the people being devoured by it, through the night. It all happened so quickly, noone could help there own king and queen; no remains of them were seen. However in the middle of the pile of dust and ashes, cutled up in a ball, still in his sleep, was, you, Baudouin, the only survivor..."
