All I Ever Needed

The group were all sitting around Mitch & Scott's apartment working out the last minute kinks in their Evolution of Whitney Houston Medley, when Kevin stood & stretched a bit his back popping as he did.

"Yeah, I'm going to need a minute" he groans

Mitch smiles at him as he too stands, he walks over to the older man & wraps his arms around his waist burrowing his face into his chest.

"Mmm, I could use a break too" raising his head to meet the eyes of his boyfriend who leans down to press a kiss to his forehead.

"Um Yeah, No sex on arrangement time! I totally know that look in your eye Mitch!" Scott teases as he walks over to remove his best friend from Kevin's' arms.

Kevin eyes go comically wide at the assumption and he begins to stutter over his words.

"Wha- Nah no what are you even, What?" The rest of the group laugh, taking great joy in watching him fumble his words.

Mitch ignoring his boyfriend turns to face Scott "Oh Boo, You're no fun"

"Kev, Babe relax you're going to give yourself an aneurysm" he laughs as Kevin drops his head in surrender.

Mitch heads to the kitchen to get himself something to snack on as Kirstin tags along.

Back in the living room Scott approaches Kevin whose talking to Avi. "Hey Kev, I'm sorry for teasing you; I didn't mean to upset you".

"Nah Man, it's cool I know you were only teasing" Kevin reasons "I'm just not as comfortable talking about my... Um.... sex life as Mitch is I guess"

Scott just smirks and shakes his head, it still amazes him at how shy Kevin can be around people but the way that Mitch describes their sex to him & in great detail too. Modesty is the last thing he should worry about but he's not telling him that.

"I'm glad you came over though, I need your honest opinion on something" Kevin tells Scott.

"Sure, whatever you need" Kevin waves for Scott and Avi to follow him out onto the patio, once outside he makes sure Mitch or Kirstin aren't following causing Scott to raise his eyebrows at his odd behavior.

Alright here goes nothing  "As Mitch's best friend I wanted to bring something by you first, Avi already knows seeing as though I told him last night" Kevin begins as he fidgets nervously.

Watching as his best friend struggles, Avi offers him an encouraging smile.

Taking a deep breath Kevin looks Scott in the eye "Scott you know how much Mitch means to me, And you know him better than anyone else; so I'm telling you this in great confidence that you'll stop me if I'm getting ahead of myself".

At this time Scott is obviously shook because he has no idea what is about to come out of Kevin's mouth and Avi grinning like Cheshire cat off to the side isn't exactly helping.

Kevin clears his throat "I want to ask Mitch to Marry Me!"

Scott stares dumbfounded as Avi claps his hands together before slapping Kevin on the back.

That seems to knock him out of his quick coma trip

"Kevin, Oh my freaking Gahhh" He shrieks "Are you kidding me that is amazing, I'm so fucc gah"

Scott begins to fan at his eyes feeling the tears as they form acknowledging the fact that his very best friend will soon be marrying the Man of his dreams. Not able to stop himself he walks over to Kevin and wraps him in a tight hug.

"Aww Man, C'mon not you too; Its bad enough I had to deal with Avi and his tears last night".

"Hey! Its not every day your Best Friend decides to get married" Avi explains

Wiping the tears that manged to escape Scott steps back and really looks at Kevin almost making himself breakdown again.

"You're a complete idiot if you think Mitch will say anything other than Yes! He loves you so much Kevin, the very mention of you and his whole face lights up. The moment you enter a room his eyes naturally find you without even searching you out. You two are meant for each other, there is no going around that"

Kevin closes his eyes for a moment letting the weight of Scott's words resonate with him. Taking a breath he meets the eyes of his band mates and more importantly friends. Both of whom are staring at him with tears in their eyes, He could totally do this!

The opening of the patio door startles the group of men who immediately jump apart.

Kirstin squints her eyes at them but doesn't question their odd behavior. "Just checking to see if you guys are ready to finish up!"

Avi being more prepared than the other two jumps in "Yeah we're good to go, right guys" he asks throwing an arm over Kevin's shoulder.

"Yeah, lets head in " responds Scott as he clears his throat, still emotional on the news he'd just received. Now the only thing he needed to worry about was How in the hell he was suppose to keep this from Mitch!
