Chapter 1

Starbucks was a fifteen minute drive from her condo, she couldn't help but frown during the drive, papaano ba naman ay natalo siya sa bet nilang magkakaibigan dahil kay Mr. Sungit, well actually, she could've gotten any guy she wanted pero dahil sa sobrang pagkainis ay ipinagpaliban na lamang niya ito, even Jokanne went home with a guy! and her of all people. The beautiful Aaliyah Samantha Mendez went home dateless! 

it was outrageous and an insult to her. 

Damn that guy.!

when she arrived, she parked her car and proceeded inside to order, there weren't a lot of customers kaya after a few minutes lang ay siya na ang susunod na oorder. Chocolate chip Creme Frappucino for jokanne,  Strawberry fruit jelly para kay Grace habang dark mocha para kay Jenna at Jenny. habang inaantay ang order, Liyah scanned the whole place, if she wasn't in a hurry ay baka magstay muna siya rito para magrelax, pero dahil slave siya nina Jokanne ay hindi pwedeng magtagal. 

She saw a familiar figure enter the cafe, It was mister sungit looking dashing as ever, She took the chance to admire him, His hair was sexily pushed back, his defined jaw was mesmerizing and his eyes, his glasses couldn't hide how good looking he was, she hope her mouth wasn't open from gawking. She wasn't used to this, marami siyang kilalang gwapo, goodness, she is a supermodel, she had walked the runway with countless good looking, hot, mouthwatering guys not to mention them always asking her out. She studied herself in the mirror.

 Her hair was a rich shade of mahogany which she got from her mother. It flowed in waves to adorn her glowing, porcelain-like skin. Her eyes, framed by long lashes, were  bright hazel and seemed to brighten the world. A straight nose, full lips - she seemed the picture of perfection. Had she smiled, every head would turn to look at her. She tuck a piece of hair behind her ear. it's payback time.

She saw him go to the furthest table, she smiled. 

what a loner.

She carefully followed him and waited, when he sat down she approached him, "Hiya good looking, we meet again" she gave him her most alluring smile, he looked up and returned a smile.

"Hey" he said, but it felt like he was hesitant to talk which insulted her more.

She pulled the chair across him and sat, "So--, are you alone?"

He spread out papers across the table, he just answered her with a nod, muling kumulo ang dugo ni liyah, how can someone show so little interest in her, tumikhim siya para makuha ang atensyon ng binata, nagtagumpay siya dahil tiningnan nga siya nito.

"Aren't you gonna talk to me at all?"

The corner of his lips rose, "Look,  I'm a busy person and i'd appreciate some alone time" pagkasabi non ay bumalik na siya sa pagbabasa ng paperworks. 

his penetrating eyes invaded her heart, thousand bolts of electricity hit her, galit na galit siya and yet she was also turned on with his attitude.

"Okay, I'm buying it. I want to date you" she placed her hand on his before smiling.

she heard a low chuckle, "What are you buying exactly miss?" 

"That hard to get attitude of yours" she winked.

He smiled, "Hindi to pagpapakipot" he stood up and collected his papers, "This is just me showing you that I'm not interested and since you already destroyed my supposed to be quiet time, i'll be going. bye" then he left.

Muling kumulo ang dugo ng dalaga, this can't be happening, this is not happening, pinagtitinginan na siya ng mga tao dahil sa eksenang nagyari. There is no way in hell she's going down that easy. Never. she chased him, dali dali siyang lumakad palabas ng starbucks, wala siyang pakielam kung pinagtitinginan siya ng mga nakakasalubong niyang tao, she needed to have him and she will. 

Naabutan niya ito, "Hoy! ang kapal mo rin ano?!" 

he looked back confused, he clicked his tongue, "Miss---"

"It's not miss, it's Aaliyah!" she corrected him, it's insulting enough na nirereject niya siya ng binata. mas lumapit siya, matangkad na si liyah ngunit mas matangkad parin ang estrangherong nasa harap niya, she looked him in the eye, "Look Aaliyah, it would be best for the both of us if you would leave me alone" she tiptoed to reach his face, "What if I don't?" she whispered.

He took a step back and sighed, "Enough of this, I'm going" he attempted to leave but she grabbed his arm, an Idea hit her, "Then give me a dollar" she demanded, his brow raised in confusion. "Really? a dollar?" he made sure, she cutely nodded. You messed with the wrong woman Mr. Sungit, i'll show you who's boss.

When he reached for his wallet, aaliyah quickly made a grab for it, "Thanks for this sweetie" she then grabbed him by the collar and gave him a kiss.

It wasn't just a peck. For a moment, Aaliyah thought maybe he was angry, but before she could move back he pulled her closer to him and responded, it was a  hungry kiss. His mouth was so warm, the caress of his lips was softer than she could have imagined. He tasted tentatively with his tongue, and Aaliyah opened her mouth with a low moan. but before she drowned in his kiss, she pulled back and made a run for it.

When she was sure that he wasn't following her, she scanned the contents of his wallet. She found Ids, receipts and a lot of money, she quickly regretted what she did, what if he sue her? nahh, he doesn't look the type. she found a piece of paper.

a mischievous grin formed on her face.
