"Where're we going?" Claire giggled and turned to me. "You will see! It's a Surprise!" I said while we walked. I looked so she couldn't peek under the scarf I've put over her eyes. I held the basket with the picnic in my hand. We had talked earlier this week about creativity and I'd love to give her a more creative date. We came down to the lake that was surrounded by trees. It was quiet and very beautiful. I laid Claire's hand on a tree telling her to stay there and not peek. I went down to the water and jumped up on the float that laid on the beach. I laid out the blanket and the food was placed on it. I pushed it slightly out in the water but not to much so it would float away. I grabbed Claire's hand and leaded her to it. She sat down and was almost jumping of curiousness. "Can I take it of now?" She said excited. I laughed. "No, not quite jet!" I said pushing the float out on the water. Claire gave out a small scream when I jumped on it and we float out. "Now take it of!" I said when we were in the middle of the lake. Claire dragged the scarf of. "Wow! This is so beautiful!" She looked around. "And so romantic!" She continued, giving me a wink. We began to eat while we float on the lake listening to the nature. "So what's your favourite colour?" Claire asked with food in her mouth. "Green, yours?" I answered her, with food in my mouth. She swallowed and smiled. "Green, and pink! Its such a cute colour!" She replied taking a sip of her cider. "Favourite music?" I asked and took a bite in my garlic bread. "Everything except for like hard metal and music like that!" She didn't look up while she said that. She was to busy eating. "So you like Michael Bublé?" I curiously asked. Claire looked up and smiled. "I love him!" She answered before we both took a sip on our drinks. "So what kind of music do you like?" Claire inquired me. "Erm everything except for maybe opera!" I said and we laughed. "No opera isn't my music style ether!" Claire laughed. "No?" I said but it came out more of a question. I started to sing something that sounded like opera and when Claire stopped laugh she sang along.

We sat quiet enjoying each other's company. "Can you say something on Swedish?" I asked and she smiled. "Yes but no I'm not gonna say anything!" Claire giggled and I smiled. "What was your plan? How do we ever come of this float?" Claire asked curious. "Erm... Well I hoped the wind could help!" I said serious and Claire giggled. "No seriously! It's not a joke!" I packed up some strawberries and Claire's cheeks turned pink and she clapped her hands in excitement.

"It was great! So fun and romantic!" Claire said while we sat in the car. "I'm gonna have a hard time beating this date!" I said smiling and Claire laughed. "It doesn't matter what were doing it's always nice as long as the date is with you!" Claire said. I could actually feel my cheeks heathen up and that was quite embarrassing. Claire took my hand."Do you call me?" She asked and I nodded leaning forward to kiss her. She bent forward to me but before our lips met her phone begun to ring. "It's mum! She probably want me to come inside!" Claire said and sighted. We hugged and she left me alone in the car. I smashed the staring whee feeling stupid and I was so pissed of on her mum. The date was so amazing! It was fun, creative and romantic and I had hoped on a romantic ending to. I leaned my head against the staring wheel for a second or two before I drove of.

"Hello handsome!" A voice said on the other side of the line when I answered my phone. "Handsome?" I teased. "Yes you are handsome! Why should I lie?" I could hear that she was smiling. "What made you call me this night!" I asked cheeky. "I just wanted to hear your voice!" Claire said slightly and I guessed that she was blushing. "Good thought because I love to hear your voice to!" I answered. I wanted her here so we could cuddle up in my sofa watching scary movies so she would sit close to me, or we would watch something boring and talk. "What are you doing?" I asked and she answered that she didn't do anything special. "I wish you was here because I'm bored!" I said and moved the phone to my other ear. "Because you're bored?" She asked a bit disappointed. "Well I do miss you but I wasn't sure if you wanted to hear that!" I said and Claire giggled. "I miss you to!" She answered. "It's been a week since our last date you know!" I continued and she sighted. "Yeah I know! I've been so busy at work this week!" We were quiet for a second. "Are you doing anything tomorrow?" I asked, I knew it was her birthday and I was thinking that I'll take her on a night out. "Erm it depends on my parents are planing anything..." I could hear on her voice that she was insecure if I knew it was her birthday tomorrow. "Oh no.. I just remembered I have plans for tomorrow... And I kinda have to sleep now!" I said trying to get her confused. She wasn't suppose to know that I was planing a date. "Oh I see... See ya then!" Claire answered a bit disappointed. "Bye lovely!" I said and ended our conversation.
