I was leaning against the pool table, surrounded by the sweaty bodies of teenagers and the scent of smoke in the room. As I swiftly glanced to my left, I noticed an unfamiliar face looking in my direction. I quickly looked away, but the electricity of his blue eyes remained as a picture in my mind. Wanting to see more of this beautiful stranger, I looked up in hope to see his chiseled face once again. After scanning the room multiple times, I thought to myself that he may have left or maybe he wasn't even real. I was giving up on looking when I felt a tap on my shoulder. In lightning speed, I spun around and saw the living mystery guy in front of me. Softly, he lifted my chin up and said, "Looking for someone?"
*SNAP* I jolt up and began to breathe heavy as I look up to see my 12th grade calculus teacher, Mrs. Jefferson, staring at me with annoyance in her eyes. Slight chuckles from my absolutely wonderful classmates erupt throughout the room. "Enough," roared Mrs. Jefferson, "Now Ms. Hill do you know the answer to the equation on the board or not?"
As my cheeks burn red, I look down and softly squeak, "No, I don't. I'm sorry Mrs. Jefferson."
"This is the second time today Alexandra, pay attention before I get the principal involved. Are we clear Ms. Hill?" She explained while gritting her teeth.
Trying to avoid eye contact I reply, "Crystal!" Once she continued on with her lesson about something I couldn't remember, I went back to thinking about the boy with the electric blue eyes.
The bell finally rang saving me from that dreadful room. I don't understand why on the last day of school teachers still believe that there is still more to be taught. I walk out of the class and up to my two best friends, Tessa and Gianna, that are waiting for me by out lockers. Tessa asks excitedly, "1: Are you guys ready to graduate tomorrow? And 2: why are your cheeks so red Alex?"
Smirking, Gianna answered before I did, "She is still thinking about her blue eyed hunk!" Laughing, I playfully shove Gianna although she was right. After she said that, I couldn't help but smile more because she reminded me of his blue eyes.
I look at them both and smile before asking, "Now like Tessa's first question, who's ready to graduate?" We all broke out into laughter as we began to walk out of Riverview High School for the last time.

My back aches as I wake up and sit up on Tessa's couch. I look to my right and notice that Tessa is already awake and on her phone, as usual she is the first person up. I tap her foot and point to the ground where Gianna is still sleeping away. She smirks at me understanding what I was trying to silently tell her. I hold up my fingers and mouth the numbers counting backwards from three. My last finger went down and together, Tessa and I jump on Gianna and scream, "Good morning sunshine!"
Gianna just laughs and shoves us off before saying, "You know I really hate you both."
The rest of the day was spent running around trying to get ready for our graduation ceremony that was at 3. Since we are the graduates we have to be there at 2:15 to get everything in order. By 1:45 we are all ready. I am by the front door in my red skater dress trying to slide on my 4 inch white heels with a small buckle. Tessa, the literal shoe goddess, picked these out for me the other day. My hair is down and in loose curls. I look up once my shoes are on and see Tessa standing there looking stunning as usual, she is a fashion queen and always looks like she is going to walk a runway. She is in a white dress with a low cut lace halter top and a plain white flowy bottom. Then she is wearing 6 inch pumps with a white base and colorful flowers and her long hair is in 1-2 giant curls to one side of her face. Lastly, looking beautiful Gianna comes down the stairs. She is more of the athletic type, but can dress up when she wants to. Her dress is a royal blue, thick strap skater dress and she has a gold necklace on. She is also wearing gold 5 inch pumps and her hair is loosely curled with one side pinned back.
After arriving at the graduation and getting situated the ceremony began out back on the football field. Listening to the principal go on and on was good, but got boring after a while. Then, the principal calls out the name, "Caleb Woods." The name intrigued me, I look up and there he is. My jaw drops as I see the boy with the electric blue eyes walk across the stage.
