Recap of last time:

"What. Did. You. Say" she hisses through clenched teeth. I really don't want a fight because that would draw attention, but I could not make myself say anything to her. So I just put a cocky smile on my face and looked her right in the eyes. "You know what little elf you are so dead" she yells as she lunges at me.

I know that this is going to hurt... bad. So I pull my eyes shut instantly and I waited for whatever pain I would feel. I waited and waited and waited some more. "What?" I thought in my head as I slowly opened my eye. What I saw surprised me completely. I saw the same dreary tan hallway with dozens of similarly colored lockers. I was in exactly the same place except everything was frozen in place. The world was halted and I had no idea why. Did I do this? I then focused my gaze on the vamp chick. She had her lips curled back with sharp fangs extended to their fullest. She was in a crouch ready to pounce on me. I then noticed someone behind her. It was the hot vamp and he was holding her back tightly. Awwwww he was saving me. A huge grin spread over my face. Then suddenly the world began to move once more. "LET ME GO ERIK" the blonde screamed as she fought the vamp behind her, "SHE CALLED ME A WHORE BABY! SHE DERVES IT!" I heard the boy, Erik, slowly calming her with sweet words. I was only staring at the boy his eyes seemed endless so sweet and loving when he talked to the blonde. "I'll handle this Jenna" he whispered. Then he hesitantly let Jenna go and walked over to me. I just continued staring at him while he approached me. He returned my stare for a few seconds and then pulled his hand up to reach for my face. Oh My God. He was about to touch me I could feel it, picture him touching my cheek softly as a caress, but he had different plans. He slapped me hard with his hand and damn did it hurt. My body was thrown to the floor as he snickered as he stared down at me. I heard more laughing coming from around the hall. I looked up at him with an evil glare. How could he do that to me? He was looking down at me with the evilest smile spread across his face. "Don't call my girlfriend a whore again or I will do much worse" he spat at me. Jenna than ran to his side and they intertwined their fingers together and walked away laughing as the rest of the vamps followed behind them.

I was alone on the ground, lying on the cold tile. Yeah cold and heartless tile just like that jerk vampire Erik. I was so angry I slammed my fist into the floor, releasing all my anger in the one punch. I pulled my fist back and saw that I had made a hole in the granite tile. I was awed by this new strength that I had never knew I had. I slowly pulled myself up into a sitting position and pushed my back against a locker. I let my head fall into my palms. That's when I realized I had tears streaming down my cheeks. Dang it I hate when I cry. I wiped the tears from my eyes and realized I wasn't wearing my granny glasses. So slowly I got up and began searching for my glasses that must have fallen off when I fell. I looked around and found them on the floor a few feet from where I was sitting before. I bent down and picked them up. They were broken in half and one of the lenses was cracked. Well I guess I wasn't wearing these until I fixed them. I carefully put them in the front pocket of my backpack. I ran to my locker and got the books I needed. The halls were clear of anyone so no one disturbed me as I made my way to the exit of the school. I slipped out the door and made my way home.

The rain had let up to nothing but a soft drizzle. It seemed so beautiful; the rain looked a silver blanket on all of the objects around me. As I looked up into the sun I felt a feeling of joy pass over me. I forgot about all that happened that day and just stared into the warm ball of fire overhead. I knew it must be getting late because the sun was slowly getting lower so I grudgingly pried my gaze from it so I could continue home. I approached my house. It was a small ranch style home on the corner. It was made of a deep brown brick that had tints of red showing. It wasn't that bad of a house, not bad at all just a little small. I unzipped my backpack and took out my keys to unlock the door. I mad my way to my bedroom. I opened the door and through my bag on the bed. I plopped myself down, adjust the pillows so I could lean against the bed frame. My eyes took in my room. Each wall was painted a different color. It looked like a rainbow fell from the sky and splattered on my walls. I loved it! Teresa and I had painted it a year ago for my birthday. I pulled off my huge sweatshirt and let my hair out of my pony tail. All of a sudden I felt extremely tired. I slid down into the comfort of my warm bed. Letting my eyes close, I fell asleep instantly. I hoped I would see my mother, but no such luck. The scene in my head was the opposite of the dreams with my mother. The nightmare consisted of a fiery landscape. It was horrible, but also beautiful in a way. There were wildflowers everywhere and they seemed to be on fire, but they did on burn or wilt. I picked one up and held it in my hands. The lilac like flower radiated heat but did not burn me. I was so focused on the flower I didn't realize that I was no longer alone. Then I felt a extremely warm hand on my shoulder. "I'm coming" the voice seductively said in my ear. I awoke from the dream in a hot sweat, screaming loudly.

Quickly I looked around my room expecting the person to be in the room with me. Nothing was there so I let a small sigh out of my lips. I jumped out of bed and made my way over to my closet. I pulled the door open hastily expecting an attacker to be inside hiding. Again nothing so I grabbed some clothes. I threw on a pair of worn out jean shorts and a pink tank top. That was better, but my body still felt the heat of the dream. "Are you okay honey", Teresa asked from the other side of the door. "Yeah I'm fine. It's nothing" I replied softly as I tried to calm myself down. "Okay well it's time to eat, so come down when you're ready." As if on cue my stomach growled loudly wanting to eat. I made my way cautiously to the dinning room at sat in my usual spot. That dreamed had really freak me out; I could still feel the spot on my shoulder where the person had touched me. It felt a few degrees hotter then the rest of my skin. I was pulled from my thought by Teresa putting food on the table. Without thinking I dunk it and ate and ate and ate. I devoured about half of the roast that she had made before I was full. I could feel Teresa's eyes on me so I looked up from the plate to stare back. "Hungry, huh?" She said with a laugh. I made a soft humph sound. I excused myself so I could go to my room before the troll returned home from his job at the factory. I did all my homework as slowly as possible. I really didn't want to go to sleep. I was too afraid that I would be back in that fiery plain, but I reminded myself that it was only a dream. Right? Yeah definitely... just a dream. I made my way to the bed, pulled back the covers, got in the bed, and fell into a deep dreamless sleep.
