Chapter 1

[ Paige's POV ]  

"Ooh, Paige! Look there's-" I covered Zhar's mouth "Really? You're gonna say that loudly when he's right there?" I said as uncovered her mouth "Sorry" she replied "It's okay" I replied "It's just you two would look so cute together!!" she said loudly as everyone started to stare at us. "Woops, sorry.." she said covering her mouth "Speaking of cute together, there's your crush. Luke" I said. She looked as she started staring at him as I softly pushed her "Staring isn't polite you know" I said "Yeah, well, so is pushing!" she replied.

After we were done talking in the hallway we started walking to our first period class. We pretty much had all classes together. Partner in everything. Haha. We also had like 3 classes with our crushes. As you can see, we act like total idiots around them. Not on purpose though. After class we went to our lockers to get our books then headed onto our next class. At lunch time we were talking. Ashton & Luke kept looking at us & smiling & laughing. "Did we do something wrong?" I asked myself continuing talking to Zhar as Ashton approached me. "Hey. Paige right?" Ashton asked "Y-Yeah" I replied "Wanna hangout?" he asked "I can't right now, maybe tomorrow.?" I asked nervously thinking he'd 

say no. "Sure, why not?" Ashton said & smiled as he went back to his friends.

[ Zhar's POV ] 

I didn't see Paige after school. Probably because she went home 

early. But just in case I was wrong I called Paige. *ringring* she answered. "Hello?" she said "Where are you?" I asked looking around the school "Um.. I'm hanging out with Ashton.." she replied in a low voice "Aw, man. Who am I suppose to walk home with?" I asked "Sorry.." she replied with a low voice again "I gotta go" she added. "She hung up on me!" I thought to myself "Some friend" I said sarcastically as I started walking home by myself.

While I was walking home I accidentally ran into someone "Watch where your-" the person paused as I looked up to see who it was. It was Luke. "S-Sorry" I stuttered looking back down at the ground "It's okay, aren't you suppose to be walking home with that friend of yours? Paige was it?" he asked "Yeah but, she's hanging out with someone right now so she can't" I replied "Oh, then I'll walk you home" Luke replied.

"You really don't have-" he cut me off "Don't be stupid, it's dangerous to walk alone in this time of day" he replied "O-Okay.." I stuttered as we both started walking to my house. When I made it to my house Luke said bye & I did too then quickly went into my house, then my room & hopped onto my bed with a normal expression then happy expression. "I walked home with Luke.." I said to myself with a huge smile on my face as I slowly started to fall asleep.
