High on the sky say the moon, and low in the soft cushions of Gima Lou's couch did sit four girls staring intently at the TV screen. Rayden Libra, Gima Lou, Jenna Meyers and Annabelle Bongo.
Slowly, a doll without batteries began tottering towards a screaming woman. The doll tipped forward and fell on it's face. It's neck twisted around and I'm a coarse voice said, "You're not leaving!" Gima and the girls screamed, tossing the popcorn up on the air. Rayden, who was laughing, reached out to save the ceramic bowl and precious fluffy goodness within.
Then she analyzed the mess.
"Damn it, you guys!"
Jenna slapped her hand over Ray's mouth. "Shh, it just got scary."
Ray laughed. "You said that before, and before that...before that, too..."
"And you laughed!" Retorted Annabelle. "When the chick got her head sliced off--almost. 'Nearly headless,' you said, 'How can you be Nearly headless? Haha, like that!"
Ray grinned. "Harry Potter references always."
"Please," snapped Gima. "It's because of the eight book, huh?"
"No, the eight book just rekindled my love for the Wizarding World. I liked Harry Potter before it became a craze." Ray tossed popcorn bits in her hair.
"Stop making messes," cried the twenty two year old.
"Ha, I'm not vacuuming so joke's on you," Ray snickered, dumping the bowl on her friend's head.TO BE CONTINUED!!
