Louis' pov

Hailey walks into the kitchen and her jaw drops. I'm the only one that notices her entrance so I walk over to her.

"Louis what's going on?!" She asks clearly surprised.

"I thought I'd invite a few friends over for bowling." I smile.

"A few?! This is everyone!"

"Is something wrong with that?"

"No. Well. I was kind of hoping that. You know never mind. This is fine." She grabs her own arm and looks just about everywhere but me.

She begins to walk back to her room but I grab her hand lightly before she can escape.

"Hailey. Is something wrong?" I ask with a serious tone.

She says nothing. She removes her hand from mine and locks her door on me. In defeat, I walk back out to mingle.

"Hey Louis where's Hailey?" Niall asks suddenly coming into vision.

"She's in her room."

"Is she coming?"

"I don't know she isn't talking to me why don't you check."

"Okay." And he walks off.

I walk faster toward the door. Before exiting I turn to everyone.

"Guys I'll be back soon." And I leave.

I walk down the driveway and wipe at the tears falling from my eyes. I get in my car and start it. sigh I lean back and let the tears fall as the car warms up. I know what she's doing in her room. I know she's not okay. And it's my fault. I had to go and invite everyone. It was her day. Her day to try and forget her dad. Try and get over what happened. And I ruined it. I have to leave. I put my foot on the pedal and drive off.

I can't be there when she comes out of that room with bleeding wrists.

I can't be there because I caused them.

Tears are streaming now and my vision is blurry.

I have to get away. Have to get away before she decides to go farther. I need to ask her. But I'm scared she'll deny me.

Tomorrow.

Tomorrow I'll ask.
