All Wattpad poetry writers are welcome to use #poetryfrompain if it fits their poetry, but if they wish to have it accepted into our

~Shelves

~(Future) Poetry Compilation Books

~Or (Future) Contests

then they must meet our following guidelines for acceptance.

~Guidelines~

CANNOT's...

1. Cannot have excessive profanity

~Ex: Swearing in every four lines is a problem, especially the "F" word and other major profanities.

2. Cannot have inappropriate sexual content

~Ex: No nude and sexual images or descriptions. Romance and love? Sure! But nothing into major physical detail- yuck!

3. Cannot have racist or sexist content

~Ex: No hate toward any race or either gender.

4. Cannot have demeaning writing towards any religion

Ex: Again like rule #3, no hatred is allowed but if poetry contains disagreement towards another religion then it is alright so long as it is still respectful disagreement.

5. Cannot have bullying toward another user

~Ex: Hatred towards any user is not permitted.

*All writing should also follow official Wattpad guidelines or will naturally be reported.*

~But the promotion of self-harm is not accepted and serious, personal writings on recent self-harm thoughts or attempts will be reported.

-Books will vary and some rules may be lessened or enforced by the founder.

-Guidelines can be edited, and changed at any time by the founder and co-founder.

The founder, SuperFay and co-founder, comparings are in charge of this account and all books will be checked by them. If questions arise regarding the guidelines themselves or why a writer's book was not accepted, please send a private message to @poetryfrompain and one of us will respond shortly. 😀

And remember, these guidelines were not made to lessen or diminish poets' creativity and freedom, but rather to keep accepted poetry appropriate for all users.
