It seemed like everything was different in Sharon's point-of-view, the next day. Her best friends, Brooke and Leo couldn't tell what was going on with good old Sharon after the incident yesterday, and they interested to find out.

“Hey Sharre! I bought you a baseball journal at the book fair!" Brooke said meeting me at my locker.

“Yeah, and I got an A+ on my history test! Thanks for helping me study. So I brought grilled cheese and sandwiches o celebrate! Your favourite" Leo smiled as he tapped his lunch box. They both waited for responds...

“I'm sorry I avoided you guys last period. It's just a lot going on for me that's all. I believe there was grilled cheese mentioned?" I grinned as I rubbed my finger tips together and and hugged my best friends. All three of us almost talked the lunch break away as they are, till one question led to a chain of tragic events.

“So Sharre, what's going on with you that got you all down?" Brooke asked as she drank down her soda. I froze eating my grilled cheese sandwich and paused for sometime till I fully understood Brooke's.

“Uhh...I gotta...umm...pee! Yeah pee!" I said with my voice shaking, then I stood up

When I placed my hands on the metallic table, electric current flowed through the table and shocked Brooke and Leo's fingers. Brooke face a shriek that caught everyone's attention in the cafeteria. The wave of electricity went through the ground to every other table and chair making everyone yell at the shock. When it reached the lunch lady, she threw her metal ladle in the air and pressed the fire alarm button fright. Everyone fled away from the cafeteria frantically, but Brooke and Leo looked in the scared crowd looking for and I ran away to a little hallway behind cafeteria was where I crouched myself against the wall, rocking my self, closing my ears hard, crying my heart out, and repeatedly saying, “I can't control it!"

“Don't be too hard on yourself Sharon. You just realized you actually could control it. Now we keep you out of frantic situations alright?" Dad said in the car. I did not even flash him a smile at the encouraging remark. I sat looking out the window, whole blowing my nose.

“Listen, I love you very much and I'm really sorry I didn't tell you this sooner. To make it up to you, I got four tickets to that baseball game you wanted to go to this Saturday. For you and your friends.  .  . And maybe me.  .  .if you let me tag along." Dad said eager for a response. I smiled in response and said,

“I love you too much to stay angry at the mad scientist in you."
