Chapter 3

We peel out of the parking lot at school and make our way down to the mcdonalds that is about 10 minutes away from school. " why do you want to be my friend, not that I'm complaining but all I hear is that you never talk to girls" i say and place to him from the corner of my eye.
" I do talk to girls, just I prefer the shy ones or the girls who aren't in it for the attention and title of talking to me. I don't get what the point of talking to me id. Like yeah it's good to make new friends, but I'm like everyone else" he says and smiles at me.
When we get to McDonalds, I get my normal a double quarter pounder meal and a coke and Avery gets a salad. He pays for everything even though I said I'm a big girl and I can. " How are you so skinny and yet you eat like a grown man " he asks
" well number one thank you I'm taking that i can eat like a grown man as a compliment, and number two I work out and train everyday." I say stuffing my face with my burger. I never understood how people can make these things taste so good omg its amazing.
" Oh you work out too? where and what do you train for? " he asks. I can understand why he would like to know, we are going to become friends, but I can't tell him just yet. . " I work out at this place called Hulk gym, and what I am training for is a secret until my first match " I say eat some fries
" Oh that's understandable " He asks stuffing his face with salad " this has been bugging me but who comes to McDonalds and gets a freaken salad? " I ask
" Maybe we can work out one time toughie and because coach won't let us eat anything fatty " he says " I'd like that. And come on, just have a few of my fries " I say handing him one and he doesn't hesitate to take it ", I did't know you would share your food, I find that people are pretty protective over it" He says
" I never share my food so if were gonna be friends don't take my food unless you ask" I say serious about it all. " ok thanks for the tip. Looks like we are really going to become close friends. Once your done we should be heading back. We could go for ice cream if you want. We have 40 minutes left and it supper close to the school, we can bring it back incase you don't want to be late. " he suggests
" sure that sounds great. I can buy my own " I say shoving the rest of my beautiful burger into my mouth
" Ni it was my idea i am gong to pay and holy shit you eat fast, how could you fit that all in there, I have something you can fit in there that is bigger " He says and wiggles his eyebrows. I smack his chest and just walk out, not after i pick up my garbage and throw it away.
" Don't say that kinda stuff in public " I say as I unlock the car and get in " and why is that ? " he asks " because it's bad and if your going to say that make sure there is so kids around " I hate it when teenagers swear around kinds.
" where is this ice cream place " I ask " turn left here " avery says. So I use my signal. Yes people, you are really supposed to use it, its not a freacken suggestion, god this city has bad drivers. " Make right here " He says signal right ooo signal again wwwwwww. " left at this cutelittle shop " he says " cute little shop " i repeat " what it is shut up " awww i made him mad " awe sorry baby " I say " did you just call me baby ?" he asks " yup cause they whine get out or do I need to unbuckle you " I say " I need help " he says and smirks. I reach over and unbuckle him. " happy ? " I ask " yes, yes i am, come on lets go " he yells as he starts to run like a toddler towards the door. " wait up " I yell and half run over.
" wow this place is really cute " I say as I look around the little shop. It had light purple walls and white and black booths. The ice cream freezers were all lined up, 4 of them in a row, which means lot's of ice cream !! yay. I run and scan all of the kinds until i find the one " chocolate chip cookie dough ! " i wisher to my self in awe " 2 large chocolate chip cookie dough in a bowl please " avery asks the old gentlemen with a kind smile " how did you know ! " i whisper yell
" you scanned all of the freezers for this kind and your can is your baby so if were going to be taking it back it has to be in a bowl so it won't get everywhere. " he explains and has he's doing that he pays the lady behind the counter. Im assuming there married cause she still blushes when the older gentleman winks at her. True love " hey I was supposed to pay ! you played for my Mcdonalds " I say as I send a grateful smile towards both of them as I take my ice cream. " But that isn't the prince charming way " he says as we walk out " But I'm not a princess " I say as I unlock the car " you are to me. Let me hold your ice cream when you drive so you don't spill it or get into an accident. " he says as he takes the ice cream from me and I start the car " thanks that was cute and thanks for keeping my baby and us safe " I say as I pull put and head to school.
The rest of the day goes by fast and the next thing I know is I'm in the car with Kyle on my way home. " Where were you at lunch ? " he asks " I went with Avery to McDonalds and then to get ice cream why " I say as we drive out of the school parking lot " WHY DIDN'Y YOU TELL ME THIS. I WAS WORRIED YOU WERE TAKEN. HOLY I AM SO MAD. WHY WOULD YOU GO WITH HIM LIKE HE NEVER TALKS TO GIRLS SO WHY WOULD HE START TALKING TO YOU! " I just let kyle go on and on. I wonder what I should wear to the mall, maybe a cute dress, nah that would be to dressy. Shorts and a crop top ? I feel like I would be trying to show off to much skin. Maybe I should wear my long maxi dress, it's not to fancy and it's normally what I wear to the mall.
"Are you done ? And he die talk to girls just not ones that would use him for attention " I tell my brother who is currently red in the face with rage. " yes. and uh thats understandable, some people don't like to be used " He says with a straight face. " we are going to the mall today. He said that he wants his friends to meet me. Did you know he lives right down the road from us ? So i am going to pick him up " I say " Yeah I thought everyone knew that " he says like it' the most obvious thing in the world
Wow apparently everyone knew but me. As we pull into the drive way me and kyle are on good terms. it was 3:45 and I was supposed to pick Avery up at 5. I go upstairs and take off my makeup because we all know that having like 60 different layers of makeup on is pretty uncomfortable and makes you look like a cake face. Which I am not. Once Ive washed my face and applied my pimple cream I start to put my face on again. After 5 Beyonce songs my face was on.
I look at the time and see that it is only four so I make my way down stairs and make my self some coffee. Yes I understand that it's late to have coffee, but I don't know how long we will beat the mall for and I would like to stay awake. It has been a pretty long day and I have some homework to do before I leave.
I walk back upstairs with my coffee and grab my maxi dress I decide to wear tonight and hung it off my door so that when I am done with my homework, I will be good to go and just have to slip on the dress. I grab my science text book and binder. Today was a success seeing I only have to do a few question in science that i didn't finish in class.
Once I finished my homework I noticed that it was 4:45 already, I slipped on my dress and touched up my hair with my curling wand, making sure not to burn myself, but to be honest I have some burn marks in some weird places cause um clumsy. I turn off my curling wand and make my way downstairs. Kyle was no where to be found so I wrote him a note saying that I have left and I have my phone with me incase there is any problems. I grab my keys and were on our way. I have a feeling that this will be interesting.
