I Will Come Again

Morning breaks with a chill in the air, but please do not despair, for although winter must come, bringing with it it's icy stare, far under the ground I am going nowhere.

                                                                          I will come again

When the last snowflake melts, you will see me once again. From far under the ground my tender reeds will grow, and it is then that you will know that there has come an end to all the snow.

                                                                          I will come again

As the son gave his promise to you long ago, with a tear in his eye he knew that he had to die, but as his last breath left his body, he gave a promise to you my friend...

             I will come again.
