It was cold. The room was cold. I was confused, and my blue gray eyes had not adjusted to the darkness yet. I inhaled shallowly. I was sitting on an unfamiliar floor, up against an unfamiliar wall, in a strange room. My eyes darted around faster than the speed of light. My eyes still had not adjusted to the darkness yet, and I could only make out a few dark shapes adjacent to me from across the room.
I pulled my knees up to my chest and wrapped my arms around my legs. I rested my chin on my right knee and waited. Just, simply waited. My long dark brown hair was beginning to fall in my face, creating a curtain between me and the strange, outer world.
"Oh. Hi?" I heard someone say in a deep voice.
I jumped as if I had been electrified, and quickly jolted up, my hands in fists at my side. The person who had spoken stood a few feet in front of me. From what I could make out through the darkness, I could see he looked tall, maybe a few inches taller than me, with longish dark brown hair that hung just above his eyes, and from what the shadows foretold, I could see he had a strong jaw. I clenched and unclenched my hands. Who knew if this guy would attack me or not?
"What? Who are you? What do you want?" I said menacingly. I glared at him.
He smirked at me and stepped a few feet closer. We were now mere inches apart.
Rapist, I thought.
"I'm not a rapist, if that's what you're thinking," he said smoothly.
"I never said you were," I said, not missing a beat.
"Yeah?" He shot back.
I pursed my lips. It was no use arguing with this guy. I was wasting my time.
"Where am I?"
"Where do you want to be?" he smirked at me some more.
"What the hell kind of question is that?" I said, getting annoyed.
He shrugged, and contined to smirk.
I shook my head in frustration. I was out of here. Who needs him? I started to walk away, groping for a door through the darkness.
"Hey where are you going?" he said, jogging up behind me.
"Away from you, that's for sure," I snapped, bumping into something hard, but quickly continuing around it. This room was bigger than I thought.
"Hey, don't be so cold," he said, catching up to me and putting his hands on my shoulders and spinning me around to face him.
"Don't touch me," I growled at him.
"You're a fiesty one," he laughed in my face. His breath smelled of spearmint. I shivered.
My eyes had finally registered to the darkness, and I could actually make out most of his facial features now. He had gorgeous electric blue eyes.
"Your eyes are...," I trailed off, mesmerized by his eyes.
"Yeah?" he leaned in, our faces were barely and inch apart.
"They're, uh...."
He continued to lean in, our faces only a centimeter apart... now a milimeter....
Then I woke up.
