After Raph's attempt at patrol, Don decided it was time to test his recovery. After all he knew Raph had lied about some of his recovery. Even if Don knew he couldn't get Raph to tell him if he was really feeling better or not. He also noticed Raphael seemed to favour his right arm more then his left. Which was strange because he was left handed. Raphael had hurt his left arm though, he had told Don it had felt perfectly fine last week as well.

"Raph lay down please." The purple masked turtle looked at his hot-headed brother.

"Oi...Let's just get this over with."

Don knew Raph was annoyed by the way he grunted and laid down. Giving him an impatient look. "Now try to left the bar up." Don muttered as he added twenty pounds to each side of an old rusted bar.

Raph rolled his eyes. This wouldn't be hard. He worked out all the time! Placing his hands on the bar he began lifting the weight. Wincing at the pressure that was put on his left arm.

"What'cha two dooiinn'?" Mikey's voice filled the room as he jumped down from his room. Looking at the bar Raph was trying to hold up.

Both of them could tell Raph was having trouble by the way his arms shook.

"I'm testing Raph's strength. I want to see if he's gotten better or worse."

"He seemed fine last night when he went topside though."

"Just to be sure."

Now both of them looked back at Raph, who's shaking was more noticeable.

"Okay Raphie. That's enough. I'll just have to start lessons for your arm." Don smiled, putting a hand on his brother's shoulder.

"No! My arm's fine. I can do this!"

"Raphie...It's okay. You're not expected to be able to lift the weights this soon. You're doing better than most-"

"No! Add more." Raph grunted, keeping the old rusty bar steady somehow.

"Raphael. It's fine.' Don looked at his brother. He knew Raphael felt weak. This was Raphael afterall, the turtle who always jumped straight into battle, who never got hurt. Yet here he was, barely able to hold forty pounds.

"I said add more!" The hot-head snarled, glaring daggers at Don.

"Fine! Mikey help me add twenty more pounds.." He picked up a ten pound weight, putting it on the right side of the bar whilst Mikey put the other ten pounds on the left side of the bar.

Raph closed his eyes tightly and held the weight up for at least five minutes before letting out a pained grunt and letting the bar fall out of his left hand, watching it clatter to the ground. The weights slid off the bar, crashing to the ground.

His right arm instinctly went up to hold his left arm.

"Raph..." Donnie exhaled, looking at his brother.

"I just got tired!" The hot-head spat.

Leo had been watching Raphael's failure at holding the sixty pounds from the hallway upstairs. I sighed softly and came downstairs before he could blame Don or Mikey. "What happened?"

"Nothin' Leo!" Raph growled and glared at the wall.

Don sighed. "Raph it's okay. I wasn't even expecting you to be this far along so soon. It's going to take awhile."

Mikey nodded. "Yeah dude! You can't get better over night!"

Leo watched as Raph let out a growl and stomped to his room.
