Brittany's POV

As I was looking through Twitter I saw that Simon had retweeted the confirmation tweet from a few minutes ago, then a few seconds later I see that Simon tagged me in a tweet.

("I would like to announce that today I grew some balls and asked Britt to be mine. Love you babe 😘💜 @BrittSaysHey )

When I saw that tweet and the responses it got it gave me a sense of reassurance. It made me so happy and giddy instead knowing that this relationship may work and so many people respect the decision.

I then feel a hand on my thigh, automatically making a smile appear on my face from knowing who it was. I look up and over locking eyes with Simon and he gives me a face and sense of reassurance and rubs my thigh and mouths 'I love you' then kisses the back of my hand, which made my stomach fill with butterflies.I was then calm.

Since we still had about an hour left in the car I decided to check my texts. Before I opened the message app I saw that I had 38 new messages. So then I opened the application and scrolled through the messages and saw that most of them were congratulating mine and Simons new relationship. So I was sat there answering to the 38 new messages, which showed that even my friends and family accept the relationship which meant a lot to me.

While I was one the subject of texts I decided to change Simons contact name from 'Si😜😘' to 'babe😍😘'. Doing that made another smile spread across my face. Simon must have saw me change it because when I went back to my messages I saw a text from you know who...

Babe😍😘:
I saw that 😂.

Outgoing:
It seemed the perfect time how could I not.

I then saw Simon go to my contact and change my name from 'Britt💜' to 'My babe Britt😍💜'.

Outgoing:
I saw that 😉.

Babe😍😘:
You changed mine so it only seemed right for me to change yours since you are now mine 😏.

Outgoing:
Touché. Well played Mr. Minter.

Babe😍😘:
What can I say I'm just a ladies man.

Outgoing:
Oh now are you?

Babe😍😘:
I like to believe I am.

Outgoing:
Oh, well then prove it.

He then slightly unexpectedly grabs my chin and pulls me in and kisses me passionately, soft but still passionate.

Outgoing:
Was that your way of proving you're a ladies man.

Babe😍😘:
They like my plump lips 👄.

When I see that text I let out a little giggle before typing a reply. Also you may be thinking Britt why are you guys texting while sitting right beside each other? That is a good question. The answer to that is would you have this conversation out loud in a quiet car? Exactly me either.

Outgoing:
Oh so you've been kissing other people Minter? 🤔

Another giggle left my lips before I sent the message. I could also see Simon giving me a confused yet amused look out the corner of my eye. I then sent it and I saw Simons face go into shock after reading the text, he then grinned evilly at his phone typing the next reply.

Heavens no you're the only girl I've ever had interest in. But that doesn't mean the ladies haven't been trying to get some of these lips.

Awwww that's so sweet. In your dreams Minter 😘.

Simon's POV

While having that conversation with Britt it proved to me that I made the right decision to deepen our relationship. I've been feeling these feelings for most of our friendship but I didn't know how to ask her or how she would react or if she felt the same way. It made me so giddy inside I felt like the happiest guy alive to be able to call this beautiful girl beside me 'mine'.

The rest of the car ride was pretty much quiet and chill after Britt and I stopped flirting secretively.

We finally reached the beach after long 6 hour drive. The view from the front of the hotel we were staying at was breathtakingly beautiful so I decided to whip out my vlogging camera and start a new vlog. There was also a pier a little ways down the shore that you could see the lights from here.

"What's up guys, I'm back with another vlog and I'm here at the beach as you guys may know. We have Jo-"

"Oh no!" I heard someone shout. I turn around to see Britt searching through her stuff. I turn off the camera.

"Forget something?" I ask. She turns around breathing heavy.

"Yes! I forgot my vlog camera, I swear I packed it." She exclaims.

"It's fine babe you can use mine and I'll let you use as much of my footage as you want." I place my hand on her shoulder calming her down.

"Thanks Si you're always there for me." She says more calm. I then give her a quick peck. Before we head into the hotel.
